Chapter 57: The Uchiha Prodigy [Shippuden]

I'm so sorry this took forever to get out. I've been having a hellish nightmare of a time trying to get things in order.

Also honestly, this arc is just so long and so boring. It was an event having to watch the episodes again, but the good news is we close the three tails arc in this chapter AND drumroll, please..................

We introduce the start of the Itachi Pursuit Arc!!!! Which is as exciting as it will be saddening. I have big, big plans for it.

I will update again as soon as I can but for now please enjoy the closing of one arc and the opening of another :D

Kakashi

The others had returned with no signs of Naruto. Sakura and Ino had managed to heal Yukimaru and even Rin seemed to be regaining her strength.

"Yukimaru says Naruto and that woman, Guren we're swallowed by the three tails" Sakura explained again. I nodded slightly watching as Rin held her hand to Yukimaru.

"Stranger things have happened, and it would explain why we haven't found him." I pointed out and they nodded.

"But if it's true what makes you think Guren's still alive?" I countered.

"Guren made this crystal especially for me. If anything would have happened to her it would have shattered." Yukimaru explained as he held out the crystal. Rin took it from his hands turning it over a few times. She paused and I saw briefly what she saw, a crack on the side.

"But even if that proves that Guren's still in one piece it doesn't indicate that Naruto's alright as well" Shizune mentioned.

"And even if he is alright he's stuck with that woman and her crystal style, chances are they've already settled things" Kiba added.

"Did I use the Amaterasu?" Rin asked suddenly as she handed the crystal to Yukimaru.

"What?" Sakura replied.

"The sun has been stinging my eyes, I can feel pressure behind them that only happens when I use Amaterasu. Did you see black flames?" Rin asked again, this time her voice sounded annoyed.

"Yes, against Guren" Sakura confirmed and she nodded.

"Guren is heavily injured and Naruto wouldn't be one to fight an opponent that can't fight back"

"Alright, but how do we know he's alive?" Kiba countered.

"I just do. It's similar to what I had with Gaara but not nearly as strong." She explained.

"Naruto is alive, and so is Guren. Now we just need to find the beast"

"I can find him" Yukimaru spoke up and we looked towards him.

"I'm not sure how exactly but I can feel it" He explained quietly.

"Alright, we find it and then what?" Kiba asked.

"Then my team and I try to seal it again" Shiuzne replied.

"My partners, Dei and Tobi will be close by if they're not already here. They need to be taken care of or in the least slowed down" Rin added,

"And I'll take it you intend to do that?" I asked and she sighed as she took her katana off the counter and slid it back into her belt.

"Right now you have enough for a sealing team, enough for a backup and enough to protect Yukimaru. If my partners show up, you'll need more fighting power than just you and Yamato. I mean Dei, yeah there's a chance but not even I would be stupid enough to take on Tobi by myself" She explained.
