Chapter 19

When Jimin entered the Lounge where everyone was waiting anxiously for him, he went straight to Taehyung who was waiting with his arms open ready to comfort his best friend.

"She lied to me Bear" Jimin was full on crying again. He sat on Tae's lap and buried his face on Tae's neck.

"Shhhhh Minnie not again please you'll have fever please come down and tell us what happened, is Aunt Solidad okay?" Tae was rocking him like a baby trying to come him down.

"Sh...she....she.."

Moments earlier........

"So you've been fooling us all this while,, you watched me suffer mama knowing very well  that I needed you but why..why would you do this?"

"Baby listen...I was trying to protect you .."

"PROTECT ME FROM WHAT!!"

"Please come down baby  and listen "

"So you've heard us  Crack our heads with Taemin Hyung trying to find out what is wrong with you and how to cure you.... you've watched me suffer.."

"I was trying to protect you baby believe me.."

"Protect me from what mama?"

"From the people who attacked us and killed your grandmother, I thought if I become non-existent they won't come for you. "

"So it wasn't just a robbery gone wrong, they actually came to harm us...who are they mom?"

"I don't know them baby but I wanted to protect you at all cost.."

"Well I hope you'll come clean to Taemin hyung and apologize for all the trouble you've caused but as for me ay I need time to understand and process all of this cause seriously there's reason on this planet earth that will make you put me through all this..."

"Baby please ..." Begged Miss Solidad but Jimin wasn't having it .

"No mother not now, I...I just..  I need to breath ok .." with that Jimin exited his mother's bedroom and went seeking for his only comfort,, his best friend.

"Baby bear why are we here again because I just wanted cuddles.." Said Jimin with a pout looking at his best friend who doesn't like coffee but insisted in dragging him  to a coffee shop.

"The last few days haven't been easy on you so I thought you needed some caffeine,,to be honest I would've preferred dragging you to a bar but we both know that would've been a disaster..."

"Tae we have plenty of coffee at home and your right eye twitches when you are lying so out with it.."

Before Taehyung could say anything the door of the coffee shop opened and in came the last person Jimin expected to see.

"Look Minnie please don't kill me but he Said he's got something important to tell you .." Tae was panicking looking at Jungkook who was approaching their table.

"KIM FU***N TAEHYUNG!!!"

"Please listen to him Minnie you won't regret it.."

When Jungkook reached the table he didn't know what to do or what to say he just stood there like a head less chicken..

"Can we help you Jeon..?" Asked Jimin.

"Oh sorry hi... I'm so sorry Min I know I'm the last person you wanted to see but please listen I have..."

"Just sit your *ss down Jungkook before you embarrass yourself.." Said Tae while rolling his eyes.

"You made my best friend lie to me so this better be good, make it fast I have a husband to go back to.."

As much as it pains him to be this cold towards Jungkook he had to in order to protect his heart..

" Yes sorry uhm,, you know how your family was attacked and I promised to find out who ever was responsible.. I don't know how you will feel about this but I hired a private investigator and this was his findings.." said jungkook while putting a brown envelope on top of the table.

Jimin was speechless he didn't know what to do or what to say whether he   should take a look at this envelope or just stand up in leave. He looked at Taehyung silently asking him what to do because as much as he wanted the answers he was afraid of the truth.

Jimin knew that there was more to this than what meets the eye. His mother cannot just fake being paralyzed for no reason. He knew that there was a deeper and scarier reason behind his mother's behavior.

Now that the answers to his questions were right in front of his eyes, he was afraid of what was lying inside that brown envelope.

He looked at his best friend again. " Minnie you wanted answers right so please don't be afraid whatever is inside that envelope we will face it together as always.." that all he needed just an assurance from his pillar of strength.

Jimin took the envelope and he was about to open it when Jungkook interrupted him.

"Jimin I suggest you open this when you are in a comfort of your home not here in public.."

Jimin took the envelope and stood up, when he was about to walk away he felt someone holding  his wrist and he didn't have to look back to know who was holding him.

Jeon...

I'm sorry Jimin but please know that I'm here whenever you need me...

I don't think your crazy wife would appreciate that...

Please Min I desperately need to talk to you please grant me just 15 minutes of your time it doesn't have to be today but please...

I'm dealing with a lot right now Jungkook...

I understand but please let me be here for you...

With that being said Jungkook released his wrist and Jimin walked towards Tae who was waiting for him by the door.

"Don't say anything..let just get out of here.." Said Jimin glaring at his friend who was about to say or ask something.

"OK ok I'm not going to ask but for now though..wait let me text Yoonie.."

Jimin chuckled .. "hey don't blame me when Yoongi Hyung dump your *ss,, you've been sleeping at my house for a week now and I told you I'm okay now.."

"Waaaaa never going to happen. I told you that man can't breathe without me besides you need my cuddles more that he does right now and he understands.."

Best friends before D*cks right. ...

They both laughed and Tae drove away. Jimin will always thank God for giving him Kim Taehyung as his best friend. No matter the situation Taehyung is always there for him, they cry and laugh together..
