The first light of dawn crept gently into the cottage, brushing across the walls in pale gold. Jimin stirred, his body still heavy with the kind of rest he hadn’t known in years. When he opened his eyes, Jungkook was already awake, lying on his side, watching him.
“What?” Jimin mumbled, his voice thick with sleep.
Jungkook smiled softly. “Nothing. Just making sure you’re here.”
Jimin rolled his eyes, but his lips curved. “I could say the same.”
"Baby I know i messed up big time and I'll spend the rest of my life making up for it,,thank you so much for giving me another chance and I promise not to ever let you down again". Said Jungkook while caressing Jimin's chick.
"I think we've said enough sorry's for the next decade hmm, so what's for breakfast?" Asked Jimin.
Ok I get it....
For a long time, they just stayed like that — quiet, unhurried. The waves outside were steady, the air smelled faintly of the chamomile tea left unfinished on the table, and for once, there was no sense of rushing back to someone else’s expectations.

Breakfast Together
By the time Jimin wandered into the kitchen, Jungkook had already made breakfast. The table was set simply: toast, fruit, and scrambled eggs that looked slightly overcooked.
“You cooked?” Jimin teased, raising a brow.
“Hey, don’t judge. It’s edible.”
Jimin sat down, laughing under his breath. “You’re lucky I’m too hungry to be picky.”
They ate in a comfortable silence, broken only when Jungkook asked, “Do you want to rest here another day before facing things?”
Jimin hesitated, then shook his head. “I just… want one more day like this.”
Jungkook nodded immediately. “Then today is yours. Whatever you want.”
There was comforting silence only the clicking of utensils were heard until Jimin disrupted the silence.
"You know I'm still wondering what Taemin Hyung meant by "he hopes I'll also forgive him"
"Let's hope he'll eventually tell you".
Yeah..

Quiet Afternoon
Later, Jimin found Jungkook on the porch, sitting cross-legged with a sketchbook in his lap. He wasn’t drawing anything special — just the waves, the outline of the path he’d built, little notes in the margins.
“You still draw?” Jimin asked, leaning over his shoulder.
“Well yeah,” Jungkook admitted. “I like keeping memories like this. Photos fade into files. These… stay.”
Jimin smiled, sitting beside him. “Show me?”
"Come join me, we can start creating new memories ".
And so they spent the afternoon sketching clumsy little pictures of seashells, clouds, and the crooked path Jungkook had laid out. Jimin’s laugh echoed every time Jungkook exaggerated his proportions — a seashell the size of the sun, a flower with legs.
For hours, nothing mattered beyond the page. This was the peace they both needed.
As the sun fell, they curled back onto the couch, the fire crackling softly. Jimin held the wooden box on his lap again, tracing the key with his thumb.
