Nami and (Y/N) sat on the ground next to Luffy, who was still bleeding and bruised heavily. He was missing one of his front teeth and panting loudly. Kingbaum stood silently behind the pirates.
Nami: Luffy. Are you really going to wait here? We're in the middle of enemy territory.
Luffy: <panting> I'm waiting.
Nami: Pound said that anyone who dares to defeat a general is erased in a blink by Big Mom's vengeful forces and their storms.
(Y/N): More than likely even my Devil's Silhouette will be helpless against Big Mom's army. I learned that I'm not as strong as I thought.
He gripped his fists, and Nami put a comforting hand on his shoulder.
Nami: Luffy, if you wait, enemies will come...but I don't think Sanji—
Luffy: <interrupting> Sanji will come. I'm waiting here!!
All of a sudden, the entire sky was covered in dense clouds, turning dark gray. Thunder rumbled over the area and the mountain that was made entirely out of cake.
Nami: <gasps> Look at those clouds!!
Kingbaum: AAAAAH!!!
Nami: What's the matter, Kingbaum?!
Kingbaum: That mountain is Whole Cake Chateau, where Mama resides... She is in a tree-mendous rage!!
Nami's jaw dropped, and even (Y/N)'s eyes widened in fear.
Nami: No way... You must be joking! That's all from a single person's powers?!
Nami remembered what Pound had told her earlier.
"Linlin can control the weather! There's, like, no way to stop Big Mom's when she's mad!!"
(Y/N): Big Mom's an Emperor of the Sea all right...
A sharp bolt of lightning shot from the sky, barreling straight for the Straw Hats. Nami yelped but (Y/N) held up his hand and the lightning struck only him instead.
Nami: (Y/N)!!
But (Y/N) was unharmed. The lightning had gotten absorbed by his body.
(Y/N): At the very least, I can defend us from the weather. Storms are ineffective against me.
It began to rain harshly, covering the entire landscape. The storm seemed to be around the entire island.
(Y/N): This rain is strange...
Nami: Wait a minute...it's syrup! So it's "drizzling"?
Luffy rolled over onto his stomach, a determined look on his face.
Luffy: I won't even let...syrup into my mouth... I'll only ever eat Sanji's cooking.
(Y/N) and Nami exchanged worried and saddened looks.
Then things got even worse. Of in the distance, heading straight for them, was a humongous army of Big Mom's followers. It was so big the end couldn't be seen. Leading it were some of Big Mom's strongest officers.
Nami was inside Kingbaum's mouth, but Luffy and (Y/N) stood in front of the Homie.
Kingbaum: Um...can I leaf now?
