Bella was distracted by the thought of Michael for the rest of the school day. She couldn't stop thinking of his eyes and how they almost craved her attention. "But Michael, liking me?"The thought itself was ridiculous but the chance of actually happening were impossible. She thought to herself. She heard shuffling and realized it was time to go.
As she headed to her car, it started to rain. Downpour would probably be a better term. " Great" She murmured to herself. She put one of her books above her head to keep herself from getting soaked by the rain. As she quickly walked to her car, she heard a loud laugh and looked over at the direction it came from. "What's wrong nerd?" "Can't afford a jacket with a hood?" It was the same group of guys that picked on her earlier that day. They were standing around a sleek black car. Everyone in the school knew who's car it was. Michael's. And as she looked over to the drivers side, there he stood with his hand on the hood. The only thing that did surprise her was that Michael was laughing. Not so much as a smile. Just the same look he wore earlier. As Bella finally got to her car, she got inside and turned the heat on. It was only 10 minutes to her house but with Michael consuming her thoughts, it felt like seconds. She got in the house and found her uncle in the same place he always was. In his recliner, in front of the TV, surrounded by beer bottles. Bella was the only reason the house actually looked pretty. Without her, it would look like a hoarder lived in the house. She cleaned up his mess and she went to her room. She started on her homework and completed it in a matter of minutes. She was after all, a straight A student. She spent the rest of the day drawing and listening to music. But it was difficult for her to focus. The thought of Michael was consuming every minute of her free time. Why was she so obsessed with this boy?
