The next morning, Bella woke up alone. She looked around and for a second, trying to remember some part of her surroundings, but she quickly recognized where she was. She looked around for Michael but the only thing she could find was an aspirin and a glass of water. She took the pill, and drank her water. She got up and heard something drop down stairs. She walked down the stairs and found Michael cursing to himself while trying to cook breakfast. Bella laughed to herself and walked up behind him. She put one hand on his shoulder. "Maybe you should go set the table." She slightly suggested." He turned around with an angry look on his face. Not because of Bella, but because he couldn't even cook an egg. His anger startled Bella, and she quickly took a step backwards. "Oh my god Bella" he apologized. "I didn't mean to scare you. I'm just pissed of because I can't cook an egg. An egg!" He exclaimed. "No it's ok." She half smiled. "I was just worried that you were mad at me" she explained. "Wait!" Do we have school today?!" "No Bella. Yesterday day was the last day until winter break". "Oh. Thank god", she said relieved. She took over the work of cooking breakfast. In about twenty minutes, Bella had a full breakfast ready. Complete with, pancakes, bacon, orange juice, and properly cooked eggs. She served Michael breakfast and then sat down. After a couple bites of eggs, she had completed her extremely small breakfast. Michael broke the growingly awkward silence. "I couldn't ever be mad at you Bella. I hope you understand that". He said. She just nodded slowly and continued to eat her breakfast. After he was done, Bella took all Michael's dishes and brought them to the sink and put them in the dishwasher. While she was cleaning up the mess from breakfast, she began humming to herself. Michael quietly walked in and stood a couple feet behind her, leaning on the refrigerator and listening to her hum. When she turned around to put the orange juice away, she jumped back a little bit by Michael surprising her. "I didn't know you could sing" Michael said in what sounded like a mischievous tone. "I can't" she laughed as she put the last bit of breakfast away. "Let me be the judge of that. Sing" he said. "Ugh. Michael. The only one that can sing here is you." "I don't believe that but thank you." He said as he playfully bowed down. "Do you wanna watch TV or something?" He asked. "Do you ever get tired of watching TV?" She joked. "No" he admitted jokingly. "Well I don't have any plans on watching TV all day." She said. Bella usually sat around the house either reading or drawing while listening to music. But instead of having some type of funny retort, Michael walked over to a CD player and put a disk in. Soon, a beautiful, calm, classical song filled the silence. Bella didn't usually listen to classical music and she already knew that Michael didn't but she did know this piece. It was 'Moonrise' by Yiruma. Michael slowly walked towards her. There was only one thing more beautiful than the music in the room to Bella. And that was Michael. He took both her hands in his. Almost as if it was instinctive, they slowly began to dance. Though it was nothing elegant, it was beautiful. Bella smiled and laughed a little when the song ended. "What?" Michael laughed. "I can't dance" Bella said. "Hph. I didn't notice ." He responded sarcastically which made Bella laugh. "Hey!" She giggled. "You're so mean" she teased. Michael shook his head as he finished laughing. "Bella, I need to ask you something" he said. His voice was serious. Not mean, just serious. He sat Bella and himself down on the couch. "I don't want to make you upset, but yesterday, when I was cleaning your wounds, I saw the ones that those guys didn't make" he said. She looked down in despair. "I just want understand why you would do that to yourself Bella." He said keeping his voice soft the entire time. "I couldn't explain Michael" she explained. "How hard could it be Bella. It's not that difficult" he said softly. But that didn't stop what happened next. Bella felt the cold rush down her spine. That was the moment the flashbacks hit.
