As days passed by, Bella and Michael would talk more and more to each other. But one of the things Michael was happiest about, was that he was able to convince Bella to eat more and more. One day, Bella ate almost ate a full sized portion of food. But they both got more excited as each day passed. Christmas was just around the corner. They both knew exactly what they wanted to give to one another, but they were scared that the other one wouldn't like what they were given. Bella planned on getting Michael a fifty dollar gift card to his favorite game store, and a Pikachu hoodie. Michael had already gotten Bella a bunch of Green Day and All Time Low band merchandise. But he couldn't wait to get her other present. A silver necklace with a Topaz gem stone surrounded 5 diamonds. He had spent forever trying to figure out Bella's favorite gem stone. He could barely hold back his excitement.
It was a cold, snowy, Wednesday, when Michael told Bella that he was going to go get a Christmas tree. But of course he didn't mention the other item. So Bella told Michael she would get the decorations out of the boxes Michael had already brought down out of the attic. "Don't start decorating without me" Michael warned jokingly with a smirk on his face. "I wouldn't dream of it." She laughed. Michael gave Bella a hug but to his surprise, she gave him a kiss on the cheek. Normally, all he got was a hug, which he cherished greatly, but he didn't say anything to make Bella think he didn't love when she did that. About an hour after Michael left, Bella got out of her pajamas and put some suitable clothes on. It wasn't that difficult because almost all of her wounds were healed. All but one; her wrists. She hadn't cut since she first came to Michael's house. She looked at her wrists and saw that they weren't healed. She traced all of her scars with her finger. When she finally got to the most recent ones, she pressed down on them to see if they still hurt or not. She prepared herself for the pain, but to her surprise, there was none. She smiled to her self and put her shirt and hoodie on. As she put her boots and proper winter attire on, she thought of Michael and how he had helped her. No one else had the ability to do that. She finished putting her big jacket on and checked to make sure she didn't look like the little boy from A Christmas Story. She wanted to be warm but she didn't want to look like "a tick about to pop". She thought she looked good and went to grab her side bag. She checked for her keys, wallet, fully charged phone, iPod, and headphones. Once all were officially present, she got left the house and made sure the door was locked. She was thankful beyond comprehension that Michael let her stay at his house. The least she could do was to keep the door locked. She got in her car, started it and put the heat and music on. She backed out of the driveway and headed to the store.Michael's POV
Michael had let Bella stay at his house for the past couple of days and he was unexplainably happy she had. He gave her a room of her own because, 1: she probably wanted to have her privacy, and 2: he was pretty positive she didn't want to stay with him, (not that he didn't want her to). Bella used her room to get dressed and take showers in, since it had a connected bathroom, and other small things like that. But Michael thought about how she had always spent the night in his room. He had a queen sized bed, but he could care less. He was happy she liked to be with him. She slept next to him every night. And he could, and would wrap his hands around her waist and cuddle with her, every night. And both Bella, and Michael loved it. They were as close as two people could get, but he always wanted to be closer to her. He arrived at the store where they sold Christmas Trees. He pulled up and got out of his truck. He locked the doors, but then took a small gasp. There across the lot, was a disturbingly yellow car, with six men wearing the same jacket, leaning against it.
