"Why do you just walk away when all I want to do is talk?" Michael gently questioned. "Because there is nothing to talk about" she responded shyly. "About how I keep seeing you around school, how you probably hate me and how I don't want you to because you look like an interesting person" Michael replied. His response sounded so determined. Almost like he meant it. Bella half laughed to herself as she quickly shook her head. "I don't see you around school that much, I don't hate you and I'm not an interesting person. Are we done here?" "I'm not " he replied quickly. "Well I am" she responded as she walked into the library. "That's too bad" he said as he followed her. "Look" she said as she turned around. He was closer than she expected and was much taller than her too. It looked at least half a foot taller to her. "I'm not sure why you are your friends pick on me so much but it's really annoying. I have a difficult time as it is do I don't need your group treating me like a piece of shit. So please, just stop trailing me everywhere" she asked almost desperately. "Do you see any of them here? No. I honestly do want to talk to you. I want you to understand that. Do you not know when someone is being honest?" She turned around at the words spoken. To her surprise, she looked directly at him. "No... I don't ". She said as he looked directly into her eyes. He saw the truth in her words. But not only see the truth, but the pain in her eyes was unmistakable. It was so clear that she was hurt so many times before. But the only thing that kept him from feeling fear, was the color of her eyes. They were beautiful. Just like the rest of her face. They were hypnotizing. The only thing he could say was "what happened to you?" Bella understood what he was asking. She knew he honestly meant it. But she never in her life wanted to remember her past much less tell and explain it. But she looked to the side and slowly looked back up at him. She looked at the time and saw they had ten minutes until students would start to flood into the school. So they made plans to meet at the library after school. The rest of the day was a normal day except the fact Michael would be in two of her classes. When it was time for school to end, Bella walked to her car. As she did so she looked for the black Impala. But she was not successful in finding it.
