I waited and waited. I waited by Romario's for almost two hours and Danni never showed up. And I even called her a dozen times and she never answered.
I angrily began to walk home.
I can't believe that she blew me off. And it was probably went to hang out with that no good boyfriend of hers. I know I said I would give him a chance but my patience is running thin with him.
It wasn't that long of a walk and before I knew it, I found myself in front of Gregg's apartment. I knocked a few times before the door partially opened.
"Paige?" Gregg asked through the cracked door. "What are you doing here? I thought you and Danni were going to hang out today."
"Are you going to let me in?" I asked trying to look past his figure.
He slipped in front of the door closing it behind him. He was shirtless and his gray sweatpants hung loosely on his hips.
If only I could see his di-
"Actually I'm kind of busy right now." He said avoiding my eyes. "I'll come up to your place later and then we can talk."
"Is everything alright?"
"Everything is fine." He says. "But I really should go now."
"Alright I-"
He already shut the door.
That was weird. I thought. It looks like everyone has better things to do than hang out with me.
Trying shake my thoughts, I made my way up to my apartment. All I wanted to do was sleep. Sleeping is the greatest escape from your problems, even if it is temporary.
I took off my shoes and changed into something more comfortable to sleep in. An oversized sweatshirt and leggings seemed like the best choice.
After I changed, I jumped into my bed and curled myself up into a ball. A few minutes later I was fast asleep.
"Love, wake up." A familiar voice spoke.
"No."
"Okay but August Alsina would be disappointed that he didn't get to meet his number one fan..."
"August!" I immediately got up and frantically looked around. "Wow. That was cruel."
He laughed. "I think that he's the only person that you love more than me."
I propped myself up against the mountain of pillows that were on my bed. "Are you jealous?" I asked slightly amused.
"Me, jealous?" He said exaggeratedly. "Of course, I would. I don't want anyone to steal the love of my life."
How can I stay mad at him, when he says stuff like that?
"Okay." I said. "I just don't get why you keep blowing me off. I can't help thinking that it has something to do with me."
"I told you that I was busy." He stated simply.
"Yeah well you've been busy for two days now!"
