I tossed and turned in my bed. I shuffled around in my bed for my pillow. When I found it, I laid my head on it. I sighed happily. My pillow was really soft. I snuggled in a little closer.
I heard a snore and immediately opened my eyes. I wasn't lying on a pillow I was lying on Michael!
I started to shriek. "Oh my god! Michael what are you still doing here?!"
He rubbed his temples. He looked kinda cute with bed hair. "I guess we both fell asleep while watching brotherly love."
I groaned. "Your girlfriend is totally going to kill me when she finds out about this."
"I won't say anything if you won't." He said grinning.
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah okay. Get dressed you gotta go."
"What's the rush?" He said crossing his arms behind his head.
I got up from my bed and threw his leather jacket to him. "Come on, Michael. You gotta leave."
He followed me downstairs.
"You're tired of my company already?" He said feigning hurt.
I held the front door to my apartment open. "Goodbye, Michael."
"Bye Grayson." He said winking at me.
I walked back upstairs into room to take a shower. The one thing I couldn't wipe away was the smile that was etched on my face.
I wrapped a towel around my body and headed to my room. I searched my room for my cell phone. I really needed to talk to Danni.
"Where is it!" I yelled frustratedly. I've been looking for almost twenty minutes now.
Just as I was ready to give up, I decided to check underneath my bed. And sure enough, it was there. It must've fallen when Michael and I both fell asleep last night.
I tried to turn it on but it was dead so I put it on the charger. As soon as it powered it on I quickly dialed her number.

Two rings.
Three rings.
Voice mail.
Well damn, I guess Danni was still upset about our canceled plans.
I laid back in my bed. I really don't have time for this petty nonsense. We're seventeen about to be legal adults. If we can't talk it out, why are we still even friends?
I shook my head of that thought. Danni and I have been friends for as long as I could remember. I don't want it to end over some silly thing. I'll just talk stop by her house or something.
After checking my messages, I decided to call Gregg. We haven't really talked this week and I guess it was kinda my fault. I had to spend all my time with Michael because of the art project Mrs.Robins assigned almost three weeks ago. It was important to me that I get a high grade in her class because i wanted to get into A.P art next year. It would look really good when I started to apply to some of the top notch art schools this fall for my senior year.
