I woke up the next morning, floating on air. I don't know why I was so happy. It wasn't like it was my birthday or something.

I jumped out of bed, full of energy and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. After that, I entered back into my room with a towel hugged around my body and stop in front of my closet. Instead of going with the causal sweatpants look, I decided to wear my pink ripped jeans and white crop top. I put on my gold earrings and a pink necklace.

Grabbing my bag, I walked down stairs into the kitchen. I half expected my mom to be there but instead I found a note.

Good morning, Paige. I came in late so I'll probably won't be up when you come in the kitchen thus me leaving the note. Have a good day in school sweetie!

- Love mom

P.s don't think I forgot about you telling me about you're mystery man. You're not off the hook yet!

I shook my head smiling. My mother is really the best mom I could ever ask for. She just does so much for me and I don't think that I appreciate it enough.

I look through the cabinets trying to find something to eat. I found chocolate chip muffins and my stomach growled at the sight. Taking a seat at the island, I ate my chocolate chip muffin while checking my Facebook. It was still early so I had time to lounge around for a bit.

After about twenty minutes, I decided it was time to head to school. Walking into the lobby, surprisingly I saw Michael. He was sitting in one of the chairs with his back facing me. I knew it was him because he always wore that black leather jacket.

"What are you doing here?" I asked walking up to him.

"Do you not want me here?" He asked raising a brow.

"No, no. Don't be dramatic. I just wasn't expecting you to be here. Why didn't you just call?"

Well, isn't it obvious?" He smirked. "I wanted to surprise my girlfriend and drive her to school."

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not your girlfriend, Michael. You don't have to do that for me."

"Technically, yes you are."

"Technically, yes you are." I mocked.

He gave me a blank look before peering at my outfit. He broke out in a grin. "You look good today, babe. Are you trying to look good for me?"

My heart fluttered slightly, but I was swimming in dangerous waters. I can't let him know that I caught feelings for. This will all end badly. I'm sure he doesn't like me anyway. He's just being nice because we're friends.

"No," I said quickly. "I just wanted to look nice today. Is that such a crime?"

He stared at my quizzically for a second. "Why are you acting so weird?"

"I'm not acting weird. You're acting weird!"

I walked the door heading for his bike only to be grabbed by my wrist and pulled into something hard. I look up to see Michael peering down at me. I swallowed hard and my heart starts to race. We are basically chest to chest at this moment.

"Paige." His voice got deeper. "Why are you acting so weird?"

Because I accidentally kissed you and now I might have feelings for you.
