I sat on the big rock by the cliff that was a few miles past my favorite park. It was the perfect view of the whole entire city, especially at night. I sat peacefully staring out into the night.
"You look so beautiful in the moonlight." A familiar voice spoke.
I looked up surprised. I wasn't expecting any company. "Michael what are you doing here?"
He sat down. "Same as you. Just wanted to enjoy this beautiful night. And what's more perfect than spending here with you?"
I turned away, trying to hide the smile that was forming on my face. "You don't have to act like my boyfriend now Michael. We're alone."
"Don't do that," Michael said, taking my face with his hands. "Don't ever try to hide that beautiful smile of yours."
I melted at his touch. "Michael..." my voice trailed off.
He moved the strands that escaped from my messy bun away from my face. "If I tell you something do you promise to keep it a secret?"
"Yeah what is it?"
He took a deep breath "I really like you Paige."
I smirked." Well duh," I laugh nervously. "we wouldn't be friends if you didn't."
His face grew serious. "No Paige. I like you more than that."
My breath got caught in my throat, "ok" I said breathlessly. I wanted to slap myself for my lame response.
He bite his lip and leaned in slowly. "Relax and just let your mouth do the talking."
I giggled, leaning in and-
Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.
I planted my pillow on my face and groaned. This is the third time I've had this dream. It irritates my soul that I cant finish it.I picked up my phone on my bed side table to see who was calling me. I rolled my eyes before pressing accept.
"What do you want?" I asked grumpily.
"Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." Michael chirped.
"I literally didn't get out of bed yet. And I think we've already established that I'm not a morning person." I throw the sheets off me.
"Well sweetheart, I think you should put a little pep in your step because I don't want us to be late for school today. "
"School?"
"Yeah, school... You know where students go to get their education and learn."
"Shut up, Michael, I know what school is. I just forgot that it still isn't the weekend yet. I'll be down in a few."
"Hurry, I'm already parked in the front." He said before hanging up.
I rushed into the bathroom doing all the necessary things I had to do. Since, it was nice outside, I decided to wear a white floral dress with sandals. In no time at all, I headed down to the lobby with my hair done and with a early morning breakfast snack in my hand. As soon as I exited the building I spotted Michael standing next to his bike. As usual.
