Having his lips on mine made me forget about every single problem going on. I didn't want this moment to end, but I knew it would.

"Babe, where are you?" Meghan's annoying voice had broken the kiss. I heard him sigh and I slowly backed away.

"Well that's your cue, I'll see you around Parker," I turned the corner and saw Ashley waiting for me, she shook her head at me.

"What?" I instantly asked her, she kept shaking her head and I was getting really frustrated that she was just judging me and not telling me the reason behind it.

"I go to the bathroom for 5 minutes and I come back out you guys are making out and Meghan is in the other room! I know she's rude but Parker has done worse to you and Alex your just falling into his trap and I don't want to watch him hurt you. Don't make the same mistake."

I didn't respond to her. I didn't feel like talking or arguing about Parker, I just wanted to get home and sleep.

After ten minutes of walking, we finally found the car and drove away from blinding lights of the city.

I  dropped Ashley at her house and finally got home. The house was silent and I knew that everyone was in bed by this time. As I started walking up the stairs, I heard glass fall on the ground and sobbing coming from the kitchen.

I was hesitant to go into the kitchen because I'm scared for my life! But I slowly crept down the stairs so I wouldn't be killed by the psychopath that I think is in the kitchen.

When I walked into the kitchen, and I see Nina sitting on the ground with makeup running down her cheeks and a bottle vodka in her hands.

"Oh my god! Nina, what happened?" I immediately picked her up from the floor; trying to be careful with the broken glass all around.

The only thing saving us from being caught by my parents was the darkness of the first floor. Nina was still sobbing and she couldn't even walk straight but with the strength I didn't even know I had, I dragged her up the stairs.

When we got into her room, my arms gave out and I dropped her on the floor. She was still sobbing and I honestly didn't know what to do. "Nina please stop crying, I hate to see you like this. Tell me what happened?" She started to calm down and take deep breaths, I just want to go to sleep!

"Well, I've been so stressed lately. I've been losing friendships and I feel like I've been losing you." She said while taking a swig of vodka. I slowly took the bottle from her hands and got up to bring it downstairs. But right before I got to the kitchen I heard footsteps behind me, "Alex Marie Montgomery what on earth are you doing with a bottle of vodka in your hands!?" I turned around to see my Dad looking at me.

And if looks could kill, I would be dead.

"Dad it's not what it looks like, it's...uh...Nina's" I said quietly. I felt bad for snitching on her but I just earned his trust back and I really don't want to lose it again.

"She said she was going out but I didn't think she'd get drunk and how did she get home anyway?" He rubbed his face in frustration. I slowly tried to escape back upstairs but of course, that didn't work.

"Where do you think you're going, little lady? I'm upset that you didn't wake me or your mother up for this, you have school tomorrow." I knew this already, but he has always treated me like a fifth grader with a bedtime.

"Well, then I'll go to bed," I told him even though I knew that I'd be sneaking back into Nina's room.

I gave him a kiss on the cheek and ran up the stairs and into Nina's room. She was still there, sitting on the floor.
