It's been a month since Parker and I made up, and it was great in the beginning but then it all started going downhill when I started asking him about our relationship.

We haven't made anything official or gone on any dates, we've just been hanging out and getting to know each other.

Whenever I ask him about us, we end up arguing and not talking for a few hours. I don't know why he doesn't want a committed relationship with me after everything we went through a month ago. I really don't know what he's thinking.

"Alex, in all honesty, I don't know how to help you with Mr. Bad Boy," Ashley said. I groaned in irritation, I couldn't go to my parents because they would want to meet him and I couldn't ask his mother because she already thinks we are officially together and will probably want to plan a wedding! And Nina is now living in California with my grandparents to take care of them since they aren't getting any younger.

Living here in New York wasn't good for her; she would always come home drunk and my parents had enough of her crap, so the next day we all had to sit down and talk to her. She was crying when my parents said she couldn't live in New York anymore but she knew that it was best for her. After a long and emotional goodbye at the airport; my mother with tears on her cheeks and my father with sadness in his eyes, Nina boarded the plane and she was off to California. But it's been two weeks since she left and she calls almost every day telling my parents how much she loves it there.

Before I could respond to Ashley, I heard the doorbell ring, "Are you expecting someone?" I asked.

I was over Ashley's house because she was pretty much the only person I could talk to.

"No, my parents are out of town and my brother is at his friend's house." She got up curiosity and I followed, when we got downstairs, Ashley grabbed her brother's baseball bat and I was holding a pan from the kitchen.

"Who is it?" Ashley yelled.

"It's Myles!" The stranger replied, Ashley's eyes grew wide and she opened the door as quick as lightning. I was still standing there with a pan in my hands, confused as to what was going on. Ashley squealed and jumped into his arms.

"Myles, what are you doing here!?" Ashley's voice cracked from her squealing but she played it off like it was a cough.

"Oh I just ran away from home," Myles said casually and Ashley's jaw dropped.

"Just kidding, damn what happened to your sense of humor? My dad's job had him move around here, so I thought I might as well see your stupid face since we are now living around here." Ashley slapped his arm and he laughed.

I was still standing there, and I quickly poked Ashley's back to get her attention. She turned around quickly and she obviously forgot that I was there.

"Oh, Myles this is my best friend Alex and Alex this my goofy cousin, Myles." I waved at him and he waved back and then there was silence.

Myles is a very very attractive guy.

"Well, come in stupid! Why are you still standing outside?" Ashley dragged him into the house and into the living room while I slowly followed behind.

"Hey Ash, I need to go but I'll talk to you tomorrow. It was really nice meeting you Myles." I announced since she's forgotten about my presence. All she did was nod and continue talking to Myles.

I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the door. "Oh Alex," I heard Myles behind me.

"It was very nice meeting you too." And he winked at me.
