"Alex, you look stunning." Myles' jaw dropped.

I blushed.

I was wearing a black v-neck lace dress with long sleeves with a long split (I'll put the dress in the next chapter).

"Thank you so much, you look very handsome." I walked down the stairs and he placed the corsage on my wrist and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

As soon as Ashley's date Jason walked in through the door and Ashley came down the stairs and she looks gorgeous. She was wearing a pink mermaid v-neck with rhinestones.

We let Jason and Ashley have a moment together and we went outside.

"I'm probably the luckiest person in the world because I get to go to prom with the most beautiful girl." He wrapped his arm around me and placed his head on my shoulder.

I turned around and placed a kiss on his lips.

"Ahem, right now isn't the time to be making out! We need to go! Ugh, Alex, I need to fix your lipstick now. I'm going to kill the both of you." Ashley interrupted.

Myles and I started laughing in embarrassment.  

"Before you guys go, we need pictures!" Ashley's mom yelled.

"1, 2, 3 cheese!"

I hope nothing ruins this night.

The past couple hours have been amazing.

The music is loud and bodies are everywhere, but my mind is just on Myles.

He is honestly the most amazing guy and he's so sweet. He makes me feel wanted and happy, he always promises me that he won't hurt me.

He is the perfect guy for me. But what if I don't want perfect?

I can't think of him right now. I just need to focus on Myles.

The music comes to a complete halt. I look at the entrance and see the one and only Parker.

Dammit.

Parker is with 'crew' of friends and to my surprise, he's actually wearing a tux.

The music came back on and our eyes found each other.

Crap.

He started smirking.

I look back Myles, who hadn't noticed Parker. He was talking to a friend next to him.

Parker and his friends headed to the closed bar in the back. One of his friends took out a key and unlocked the door to the bar and took out a few bottles of alcohol for his friends.

"I'm going to get us a drink, I'll be right back," Myles said. I nodded and I started to look for Ashley, trying to forget about Parker.

As soon as I found her, someone had pulled me into their arms. By his intoxicating smell, I already knew who it was and I didn't look up.

"You look beautiful baby." His slow, intimidating voice whispered.

He lifted my chin with his finger and smirked.

His eyes are so dream- Alex stop!

"Parker, let go of me," I said sternly.

"Alex, dance with me." He began swaying and held me tighter.

I have to stop. I loved him and he played me. I can't let him take advantage of me again.

"Alex, we both know you still love me." He whispered.

"I don't love you. I hate you. I never want to see you again in my life. You ruined me and I won't let you do that to me again." I say harshly.

He chuckled.

"Baby, you and I know you're not serious." He began leaning in for a kiss.

I slapped him.

I quickly stormed off, I left him standing there and no reaction came out of him.

I have to go find Myles.

"Alex! I've been looking all over the place for you," Myles yells.

I run to him and hug him tightly.

I start breathing unevenly and he rubs my back.

"Everything is going to be okay. Calm down." He soothes.

Ashley soon comes over and looks really worried.

"Ah, Alex I need to talk to you." She pulls my arm.

I look over to see Parker. With a bottle in his hand, stumbling a little and drinking out of it.

His friends are bringing him outside so they wouldn't get caught by any teachers. Of course, because I'm stupid I decide to run out with them. Myles and Ashley follow me outside.

"Alex, let's go back inside. You don't need to worry about that asshole." Myles tries to bring me inside.

"Haha. I knew you still loved me, Alex, it's heartwarming but pathetic," Parker begins, laying his head on his friend's shoulder.

I freeze and I have no clue how to respond.

"But you chose to be with some stupid guy, instead of me. F*cked up Parker Hood. I'm a fool for you clearly and I can't figure out why. I drink, I smoke, I'm a mess. I need you and I hate it. I know I messed up but that's who I am, I'm a messed up person with a messed up life. I want you Alex but I hate you too. You ruined me. I hate that I love you. You turned me into someone I never wanted to be, you turned me into a caring person and I don't want to care about anyone or anything but you... you had to come into my life and change me and I can't change back. I didn't use you. I was scared and I needed to get you to away from me because I can't love. I don't know how."

 His friend brought him to the car and they sped off.

A single tear was on my cheek. And I just stood there, I couldn't get myself to move.

"A-Alex, let's go back inside." Myles grabbed my waist and led me back to the party.

I was stunned and frozen, I don't know what to think or do.

"Well, we are here," Myles said.

Prom had just ended and he dropped me off home.

"Thank you, Myles," I whispered.

He helped me out of the car and walked me to the door.

"I know this isn't a good time but I don't when I'll ever have the balls to say this but Alex Montgomery I am falling for you hard." He looked into my eyes deeply.

"Goodnight Myles." I kissed him on the cheek and walked into my house without looking back.

I ran to my room, slammed my door and completely...

Broke.
