Well, today is the day, it's Luna's birthday party.

I ran to the store to buy her a gift, this won't make up for all the birthdays I've missed, but it's something.

I really hope she still likes princesses.

I'm more nervous to see Parker.

I wonder how he's changed, I hope he's grown up.

I drove back to my parents' house and opened the door to see the cutest face in the world, walking on his own.

"Aww look at the cutest baby in the world," I picked him up and tickled him.

"Mom, can I take him with me to the city when I leave?" I joked.

"Yes please I need sleep," She giggled.

I peppered Caleb in kisses and played with him for a bit.

"Alright, it's time for his nap and you need to get ready for that party," my mother reminded.

I sighed.

"We will continue this later," I whispered to the baby, who did not understand a single thing.

I kissed Caleb's forehead and ran upstairs.

I put on ripped jeans, a tank top, a cardigan, and nude heels.

As I was doing my makeup I noticed the necklace Myles gave me on my eighteenth birthday.

I guess I forgot to pack it when I left to the city.

I decided to put it on and I went back downstairs and saw Myles and my dad whispering to each other.

"What's going on?" I interrupted their conversation.

"Nothing," they both answered in unison.

Suspicion grew in me, but I decided to ignore it because we had to get to the birthday party.

"Fine, I won't ask about it but we need to get going." I grabbed Myles' hand and waved goodbye to my dad.

We pulled up to a very familiar lot and my stomach began to churn.

"You okay babe?" Myles asked worriedly.

"Yeah I'm okay, this is just hard," I said quietly.

"I just noticed, you're wearing the necklace that I got you." Myles smiled.

I smiled back, took a deep breath and got out of the car.

The party was in the backyard so we opened the fence door and walked in.

There were a bunch of kids running around and the theme of the party was a princess theme so at least I was right about that.

I looked around saw Anne near the gift table.

"Babe, I'll drop off the gift at the gift table while you get us a seat." He nodded and walked off.

I walked to Anne and she gasped.

"Oh, my! Alex I didn't know you were coming! Look how much you've grown up and you look beautiful, wow I just can't believe it." She pulled me into a hug and squeezed tightly.

"I've missed you too, wow I cannot believe Luna is turning six years old." I laughed.

"Alex?" I heard a small voice ask.

"Happy birthday Luna," I hugged her.

"Wow, it's really you? I missed you so much." Luna hugged me tightly.
