I hear Myles snoring lightly with his arm wrapped around my waist, making me feel safe and loved.

The light sound of cars honking and the dim lights of neighboring buildings relaxing my mind.

This is my favorite part of my day.

Being in the most amazing city, with the most amazing boyfriend, in our apartment, and going to an amazing college.

But it's almost three in the morning and I'm up.

I can't seem to fall asleep.

My mind wanders and I reminisce my past in the little town far from the city.

Where I grew up.

Where I fell in love.

Where I broke.

But I've grown up, I'm not the Alex who let Parker affect and dictate her life. It's been two years since then and I've been building a life with Myles.

That part of me is long gone.

But that time was the best and worst of my life.

7:00 AM

My alarm buzzed loudly and I groaned loudly.
I'm contemplating whether or not school is worth sleep deprivation.

I mean it's not as bad as high school.

I felt the right side of the bed empty and heard the shower running.

I lazily got up from bed and headed towards the bathroom.

"Babe!" I shouted mid yawn.

"Yes?" Myles shouted from the shower.

"I'm coming in, I need to brush my teeth." I opened the door and the steam of the hot shower he was taking made it hard to breathe.

"Really babe? Are you trying to cook yourself, it's too hot." I rolled my eyes and rubbed the mirror with my hand, trying to clear it up but it only made it worse.

"It's not even that hot, why don't you come and join me?" He joked.

"You are a little horn dog aren't ya," I said with the toothbrush hanging from the corner of my mouth.

"Definitely not little, and hey I like to annoy you at seven in the morning."

He is so annoying.

I rinsed my mouth and threw water at my face to give my body a little wake up call.

I walked out and headed towards our shared closet.

I took a quick glance at the clock,

7:07 AM

I'm making good time, my class starts at 8:15.

I do my makeup first; nothing too fancy just my everyday look.

Then I change into a simple beige sweater and a scarf, ripped jeans and boots.

7:25 AM

"Alright babe, I'll see you later." I felt a kiss on the top of my head as I look in the fridge for some food.

"Later loser." I taunted and smirked.

"Alexandra Montgomery, you are lucky I love you," he giggled and pecked my lips.

He's so cute, I can't stand it.

"I love you too, alright you have to get to class." Shooed him away.

I followed him to the door, he quickly turned around and kissed me once more.

"I really don't want to go to class," he stalled.
