Damn, Los Angeles is amazing.

The shimmering sun, hot sand, and blue waves crashing upon the shore.

Damn.

And let's not forget the good looking guys... I mean I can't help but notice!

I love it here.

This month has been different to say the least. At first Myles and Ashley (mostly Ashley) called and texted me every single day, but Myles has been distant and it's been about two weeks since I've heard from him. Ashley, well she calls every couple of days but other than that, there's no communication. I talk to my parents pretty much everyday, my future baby brother is doing good, my mom and dad are doing good.

Life is good!

I've also learned that Nina has a boyfriend named Brian, he's pretty cute (he's your average surfer boy) and he keeps her sane; especially since she's living with my grandparents. She isn't ready to tell my parents, but they are super adorable together!

"Are you glad to be out of school? You know this means that you need a job." My grandpa said while sipping on his coffee, reading a sports article in the newspaper with his glasses on the tip of his nose.

"I'm very happy to be out of school Papa, and I will start looking as soon as get home. I promise." I moved my eyes towards him from the fridge and shot him a smile.

"Any boys?" He asked.

I was silent.

He looked up from his paper.

I was still silent.

"Alex..." He shot me a confused look.

"Uhh, no. No boys." My answer was pretty unconvincing.

"Alexandra." He said sternly.

"Michael." I said in the same tone he did.

He sighed, straightened out his newspaper and continued reading.

I gave him a kiss on the cheek before I left the kitchen.

"Love you Papa!" I called out.

"Love you too ladybug." He chuckled and sipped his coffee.

I went back to my (shared) room, and sat on my bed. All I could think about was the person I was trying not to think about.

Parker Hood.

Damn it! I wanted to avoid this, I wanted to avoid the thought of him.

Ugh, why can't my brain work with me!

Nina soon walked into the room and shot me a confused look and I just turned around and sighed in response.

"Don't be butt, what's wrong?" She jumped beside me and nudged me.

"Nothing, just thinking." I lay down on her legs and closed my eyes.

"Hey why don't you come to dinner tonight, it'll be fun." She started to play with my hair.

I opened my eyes.

"And third-wheel? Nah, I'd rather not." I closed my eyes again.

"It's going to be with other people, not just Brian and I."

Even with my eyes closed, I could tell she rolled her eyes.

"Fine, I'll go. But if I have a horrible time, I'm blaming you." I got up and went straight to my sister's closet.
