"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Alex, happy birthday to you!" My parents sang while bringing in breakfast.

"Aw! Thank you guys!" I smiled widely.

"My baby is eighteen today, where has all the time gone?" My mom teared up.

"Mom, don't cry." I hugged her and my dad soon joined in.

"Breakfast looks amazing, thank you!" They left the room and I ate.

"I have your whole day planned and I can't wait for your reaction to the surprises," Ashley said.

The school day was almost over and I'm so ready for the weekend. I had gotten so many 'happy birthdays' from people.

It's been about a month since everything with Parker and we haven't spoken since. But Myles and I have been hitting it off really well, and Ashley is convinced that me and Myles are "meant to be" but I'm trying not to get my heart broken again and I don't want to rush into anything.

I still love Parker but I don't trust him anymore, I don't think I ever will.

"ALEX!" Myles yelled and ran across the hallway towards Ashley and I.

This is the first time I've seen him all day.

He picked me up, spun me around and gave me a hug.

"Happy birthday gorgeous! I got you something." Myles reached into his pocket and Ashley smirked and wiggled her eyebrows at me; I glared at her.

He handed me a simple necklace with a small heart on it.

"Myles, it's beautiful! Thank you so much." I smiled widely and hugged him.

"It is beautiful, just like you." He said lightly while he hugged me.

I hit him in the arm, he's such a flirt.

"Well lovebirds, I have a day planned for Alex so we need to go get ready. We will see you later Myles." She winked at him and dragged me to the car.

"Do you think this is too much?" I asked, looking in the mirror.

I was wearing a red tight dress with knee high heels and my hair out in loose curls.

"Are you kidding!? You look hot!" She squealed.

She was doing her make-up. Ashley has always been the pretty one between the both of us, she's pretty much perfection.

I was finishing the final touches and my make-up.

It was about six o'clock already. I grabbed my purse and before I left the house, we took some pictures.

"Before we go, I need to give you your present." Ashley rushed into her car and came back.

She got me a picture frame full of pictures of us, from when we were little until now.

"I had to give you something meaningful. I left a few of the spaces empty so we can fill it for the future." I started to tear up.

"Oh. My. God. This is the most amazing gift I've ever gotten! I love you so much." I squeezed her tightly.

"I love you too. Now let's go before our make-up smudges." I put the picture frame in my room and went to the car.

Here comes a night of surprises.

"Ashley, where the hell are we?" The room was dark and I literally thought I was going to find out Ashley was a serial killer and this was my death.
