I kept my eyes out on Lyrics making sure she was doing good. I sent Harmony with my mother for the last time and went to go check on Lyrics. Harmony held me tight as I slid her pants on.
"Mama please... Please lemme go wif'." She begged tears torrent her face.
"Baby girl this is the last time. I promise." She shook her head and screamed. I stared at her. She kicked me in the stomach and cried hiding under the covers.
I groaned and got my self in order.
"Harmony that hurted me." She cried harder.
"Stay! I stay mama.!" I grabbed her and she screamed louder as I buttoned the pants up.
"No! Scared.! I scared.!" She scratched at my arms and began to threw her head back. I stared at Harmony as she shook.
"What are you scared off.?" She shook her head and her tears immediately stopped.
"Nothing." I watched as she stayed quiet threw the whole ride to mamas.
I kissed her good bye and left for Lyrics. I walked into the hospital and went to Lyrics room. Walking inside was sad.
She laid up under blankets with a machine hooked up. Drinking made Lyrics sick. She messed up her stomach and they had to flush her stomach out three to get all the liqour out of her system. I
moved up to her bed and rubbed her face. She touched my hand gently and a soft smile hit her lips.
"Kimmy." She moaned softly. I smiled and kissed her cheek.
"How you been feeling baby girl.?" She rubbed her hands together and said,
"Better... I'm trying to get out so I can see you and Harmony... How's Harmony any way.?" I bit my lip.
"Harmony's doing just fine... She wants to be at home all the time." Lyrics nod her head and coughed.
"I can't wait to get outta here man... I miss the tattoo shop... Am I still getting paid." She asked. I bit my lip.
"I suspended you for two weeks... So no you won't be getting paid." Lyrics smacked her lips,
"Why? What you suspend me for.?" I shook my head,
"You ain't been to work in two weeks why should I pay you if you ain't been putting no work in.?" She pushed my hand away.
"What ever Kimmy bye..." I shook my head and watched as she rolled to her side.
I left the hospital because I caught a real bad attitude.
About five hours later I went to go pick up Harmony. Mama didn't answer the phone when I called. I called twice still got no answer then, I went over.
Pulling to the front of the house, I had a funny feeling in my guts but I waited outside. About twenty minutes later, standing beside the car, I honked the horn and called mama.
She sent me to voice mail. I sighed and the door flew open.
Harmony ran to me. She held me tight crying softly in my ear. I picked her up,
"What's wrong.?" I asked holding her tight. She stared at me I could feel her heart pounding on my shoulder. She laid her head down and whispered,
"No more... Hide... And... Seek." And she fell asleep.
I went home and ran bathwater for Harmony.
As I entered the room she was in she looked at me,
"Get ready for a shower." I say she nod and I closed the door. When the water was ready. I grabbed a towel and walked into Harmony's bedroom. She was humping a teddy bear.
"Stop that.!" I yelled. She looked at me and nod,
"I bet not ever catch you doing that ever again... Do you understand me.?" Harmony whimpered and nod her head.
I carried her to the bathroom and put her in the shower. She washed by her self. When she got out she went straight to sleep.
A week went by it was Lyrics release date. After picking Harmony up, I held the bags as we walked inside with Lyrics. She was still asleep when I laid her in bed. I made water for Harmony and got her ready to get in.
When I walked to Harmony's room soft moans filled the air, I slowly opened the door to her bed room.
I gasped and watched Harmony moan. She had a pillow stratled between her legs and she was humping it fast.
"HARMONY.!" I yelled. She jumped and looked at me.
"What are you doing.?" She cried and said,
"Ride the face... I practice to be good slut." Tears filled my eyes. I grabbed Harmony up,
"Who taught you that.? Did you hear me say that.?" She shook her head.
"Who taught you that word Harmony." Harmony rubbed her self. My eyes widened. I moved her hand away. She stared at me and licked her fingers then touched her self again. I cried and smacked her hand.
"Harmony where did you learn how to do this.?" She rubbed her hand and said,
"I won't tell. I promised on my dead baby brother I wouldn't tell." I felt a strike of pain in my chest as she said so.
"Who... Taught you how to hump this fucking pillow.?" She screamed,
"Itchyyyy.!" And grabbed her vagina. My heart began to pound as I remembered what happened to me years ago.
"Harmony..." I say softly. She cried and looked at me,
"Who... Taught you... How... To hump this pillow.? Tell me the truth or I will whoop you." She cried.
"I laid down! My fault for looking like a cute lady... I no mean to let him touch me... I didn't want no whoopings but they whip me any way..." She said.
"It's my fault... Its my fault... Its my fault for being bornt." I pulled Harmony in my arms and gave her a bath. Blood came from her vagina and she cried,
"Burn pain... Burning..." Her eyes red and teary.
"Him... Lay me down kiss it..." I gasped and asked,
"Who.?" She rubbed her arm,
"Ant... Ron... Dey.. dey said if they kiss and rub it... I get ten monies... But I say no and... Dey do it any way... Aunty kii ... She... She leave dis scar on my neck... Say it makes me a woman." Harmony showed me the deep cut.
How did I not notice. I instantly began to hate myself so much. The times she begged to stay at home and I couldn't even notice the pain in her voice. The fear in her eyes every morning I sent her to my mamas.
"Granana.. Burn... Her burn my butt with ciggys... It hurts... I cry but nana smack me say you shut up turn around and bend over." She began to cry and pushed me away,
"You no love me... You keep giving me away when I try say no... You no love me..." She screamed and jumped out the tub. I saw the welps on her back and cried,
"Nooo.! Please.!! Harmony.! Harmony!!" She screamed harder and I ran after her. The door slammed as I cried,
"I'm so sorry Harmony!!!! Please.!!" She screamed harder ignoring me.
"Oh god HARMONY.!!" I cried and then blacked out.
