   I heard a knock, and left my room to answer it.

   It was Shawn.

   I honestly felt bad for leaving Shawn like that, but I didnt have a choice. I would have to make it up to him.

   "Hey, you just ran off," he recapped my memory.

   "Yeah, sorry, I thought I saw someone I knew, you know, with bad memories and all."

   "Oh, I understand."

   It was quiet now that he got an explanation. I started to think maybe he wouldn't want to hang out with me now. I wouldn't want to either, but I knew Shawn had a bigger heart than me.

   "Hey, look, I wanna hang out again," he said, "if that's okay with you?"

   I nodded quickly, and grinned. He smiled wide, and the butterflies kicked in again. I couldn't be happier for this second chance he's given me.
