SOME WEEKS LATER
I knew I should visit Isobel, but what would I say? I love you too? I don't? I'm confused? Our conversation could transfer into arguing, and my visit would end in a low note. I couldn't have that.
It was hard for me not being able to talk to anybody. Therapists are crap, and everybody would eventually find out.
I haven't went to the apartment in weeks, I've stayed at Cameron's place. It's been tight, but I've helped with the rent with my decent pay checks. They would soon stop if I didn't come up with some new material.
The next morning I left their house, and went to the recording studio. I would make my own song if I had to. The door opened though, and Gilinsky came in. I felt a sudden relief, and a sudden anger as well.
"I should've gave it to you," he said, "I'm sorry."
I sighed, and looked at my vans. I should forgive him, but now Isobel was at doubt that I cared about her probably. We were best friends though, so it was only fair to forgive and forget.
"I forgive you."
He took a seat in the chair next to me, and looked at all the buttons and options. He glanced at me for a split second and took out his cell phone. He made a call talking about new music, and such, then hung up.
"How about we get working?" He asked.
A weak smile gave out on my face, and I took the journal at the desk in the back room. It was labeled: JJ. My dad gave it to me when I was fourteen.
I flipped to a page, and showed Gilinsky. It was a new song, and it looked like it might be a new hit single. Jack grinned, scanning the two pages.
A good ten minutes later, two guys who worked with us in our songs came in. They replaced us in the seats, and we recorded the song in my journal.

I returned to Gilinsky's apartment, and I decided to move back in. We weren't on the best of terms, but it was coming together.
I sat at the stool at the island, and Jack opened the fridge fishing for something to drink. He took out a jug of OJ, and took a big gulp.
"You should talk to Isobel," he suggested, putting the cap back on the OJ.
I shook my head, not liking the idea, "I don't know, it's not a good idea."
"You should get things straight."
I knew he was right, but I was still having doubts. I would need to talk to her soon. Then I realized something, her birthday happened two weeks ago, and I wasn't there. I instantly felt bad, and knew I had no choice but to visit her. I grabbed my keys from the hook by the door, and opened the door.
"I'll be back!" I called to the kitchen.
Hoping Jack heard, I left quickly. I've seen the website many times, and visiting ended at four o'clock. It was three, and it was a half hour drive to the city. I had to make it in time.
