I searched up tweets involving @jackgilinsky, and as I scrolled through them, I realized they were all hate.

He didn't need this, so why was everyone giving him trouble? I had a feeling Jack Johnson has something to do with this.

I decided to try and cheer up Gilinsky even if he might not read my message.

I opened up PM with him, and started typing:

I shut off my phone, and heard my mom call me for dinner. I plugged in my phone to charge, and went downstairs to the smell of lasagna.

"Smells delicious, mom," I commented.

She smiled while sliding some lasagna from the pot on a plate, "it is an old family recipe."

"You've told me," I said with a small grin.

She chuckled, "go get your father from his office, please. You might have to convince him though...he never comes out."

I nodded, and walked into his office.

"Dad, mom made lasagna," I informed him.

He turned around in his desk chair, "I'll be out in five minutes."

"No you won't, dad," I said.

Whenever my dad says he'll be there in five, he'll be there in an hour.

"Sweetie, I'm working," he said.

"Mom made lasagna," I snapped.

"I said I'm working," he snapped back.

I left with a huff, and told my mom he wouldn't be joining us tonight. He could be so rude sometimes. She sighed, and gathered all the extra lasagna in a plastic container.

We ate in silence just like we did almost every other night. In five minutes tops, my mom excused herself with half her plate left, and I sighed.
