Crystal

I was captivated in watching the beautiful majestic creature in front of me, standing so tall and proud. It was just a normal looking wolf however standing over six feet tall it was anything but normal. Definitely a Werewolf. That fact had me quivering, shaking with fear as I recalled what Amelie had told me about them: Beware Crystal werewolves are vicious and they will stop at nothing to kill us. If they spot you they will fight tooth and claw to end your life. They will even risk their own life if they thought they could get rid of a vampire. I gulped. Was that why this werewolf was here- to kill us?

But I couldn't believe that. Even though I had just watched the huge vicious wolf tear off the vampire's head, I couldn't believe that it would hurt me. I didn't know why I was having these crazy thoughts, but it was as though I could see something in it's beautiful eyes. It's beautiful hazel eyes which glowed and shone against the pitch black darkness of its soft bristling fur. There was  something about his eyes, so captivating, so hypnotizing, so alluring that I couldn't blink. All I could do was stare into his eyes which seemed to portray a sad

hidden message. And he stared directly back at me. Entranced in each other's gaze.

When suddenly the hypnotic spell was broken as the other man who had came with Seth lunged for the Black wolf. Unprepared the wolf was knocked to the ground, the vampire clawing at its fur with its sharp vicious nails. The wolf yelped in pain and surprise as it tried to defend itself, kicking out its huge bear-like paws to try and throw the vampire off. It growled and snarled, snapping its huge sharp teeth at the vampire who was too overcome by anger that he didn't care if he got hurt. Thankfully the wolf managed to kick off the vampire sending him flying through the air to hit a tree. I had no idea why I was internally cheering and screaming for the wolf to win against the vampires, but I just knew that I could trust this wolf. Well I hoped. Maybe it was mine and Amelie's way out of here. One could only wish.

"What the hell is a wolf doing here Brandon!" Seth yelled, drawing his sword as he scowled at the wolf that was getting to its feet, shaking out it's fur and pawing at its muzzle which was cut and bleeding.

Brandon shook his head, his eyes bulging from their sockets in bewilderment. "I don't know, I've never seem them around these parts."

"Rogue Vampires and Werewolves, Brandon." Seth scowled disapprovingly at his brother, who flinched unwillingly.  "The Leadership will not be pleased."

"I'll deal with it!" Brandon hissed.

"No I'll deal with it. Like I always have to deal with your messes. Brother." Seth snapped, walking away from his brother to charge at the wolf, his menacing deathly blade raised for the attack.

"No! Watch out!" I cried out to the wolf who immediately stood to attention, his eyes gazing down at me for a split second before focusing on the vampire charging towards him. The wolf growled, snarling its white vicious teeth, his hackles raising to make him look bigger and more intimidating. But Seth didn't falter as he swiped his sword at the wolf who dodged it impressively before snapping its teeth at Seth. He went to bite him, aiming for his arm to relieve him of his weapon however Seth made sure to stay away. Seth lunged for him again, trying desperately to wound the poor creature. The wolf snarled again aggravated as it swiped its massive paw at Seth who surprisingly was knocked off balance, falling down to the floor, his sword skidding along the floor away from him. Recovering from the assault, Seth tried to get up and retrieve his sword, crawling pathetically across the floor. Until he howled out in pain, the wolfs jaws clamped around his ankle, tearing into his flesh as he dragged him back from the sword like he was nothing more than a rag doll. Seth screamed from the pain as the wolf snarled and growled as he chewed on his ankle, snapping the bones effortlessly like he was chewing on crisps.
