Zoey's POV
I woke up the next morning to the sound of my phone buzzing. I looked next to me and Luke had his arm draped over my waist but he want holding me so it was easy to slip out of his grip. I grabbed my phone and looked at the screen. It was Beau. I quickly walked out of the room before pressing answer.

Phone call:
Z: Hello?
B: Hey Zoey!
Z: Hi Beau. Do you need something? Its 9 a.m.
B: Oh uh we're throwing a party tonight and since you didnt come to the last one i was hoping you would come to this one.
Z: Yea that should be fine. What time?
B: 10
Z: Ok. Can I bring Luke?
B: Yea of course
Z: Ok thanks. I'll see you tonight. Where's the party?
B: Daniels place.
Z: ok we'll be there at like 9:30
B: Ok sounds good to me.
Z: bye Beau!
B: Bye Zoey!
End of call

I walked back into Luke's room and he was scrolling through his phone.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." I laughed as I sat down next to him.

"Haha very funny." he grinned.

"Beau invited us to a party tonight if you wanted go with me." I told Luke.

"Ya sure!" he smiled. I nodded my head and stood back up.

"I'm gonna go get some breakfast. I'll be right back, want something?" I asked Luke as I walked to his door.

"Yea I'll come down with you." he replied standing from the bed. I nodded my head and we walked out of his room and down to the kitchen. When we got down there Liz was sitting at the counter scrolling through her phone with a cup of tea in her hand.

"Morning mum!" Luke said as we walked in. Liz quickly turned her phone off and set it down on the counter. Luke and I gave her a confused look as she spun around to look at us.

"Oh uh good morning guys." she smiled.

"Uh are you ok Liz?" I asked her as her phone buzzed and her eyes went wide.

"Yea yea I'm fine!" She exclaimed.

"Mum what are you hiding?" Luke asked. Liz sighed and looked at the ground.

"I'm buying Zoey's birthday present and I was texting her mum to make sure she was ok with what I was buying..." She admitted.

"Awe Liz! That's so sweet of you but my birthday isn't for another month and you don't have to buy me anything." I told her as a gave her a quick hug.

"I know, but if your mom says yes then we'll be leaving in a couple weeks and will be gone for 2 weeks. Wed get back the Thursday before your birthday" She told me.

"Do i get to know where we're going? Do I even get to go?" Luke asked walking to the fridge.

"Yes. Amanda, Ashton, Calum, and Michael are coming over later and we will all talk about it... If Zoey's mum says yes. Which is hopefully what that text says." Liz said turning around and picking up her phone. She turned on the phone and typed in her password. Her eyes skimmed the screen and she smiled.

"Looks like we're going on a trip!" Liz exclaimed.

"YAY!" Luke and I both exclaimed.

"So they should be here around 1 and when they get here we will discuss the plans." Liz told us as she walked towards the stairs.

"Thanks Liz." I smiled as Luke handed me a bowl of cereal. She smiled and nodded her head before heading upstairs.

"I'm so excited!! Where do you think we're going?!" I asked frantically.

"Haha I don't know? Maybe Hawaii?" Luke smiled.

"That would be AMAZING!" I exclaimed. Luke and I sat at table and ate breakfast before heading back upstairs into his room.

"Amanda and the guys will be here in like half an hour so we should probably get dressed." Luke said looking at the clock on his phone. I nodded my head and grabbed my duffle bag and set it on Luke's bed. I pulled out a black button up crop top that tied at the bottom and a pair of slightly acid washed shorts. I walked into Luke's bathroom and got dressed. I brushed my teeth then did my hair and makeup before walking out of the bathroom. Luke was sitting on his bed strumming his guitar.

"Whatcha playing?" I asked as I sat down next to him.

"I had a tune in my head and wanted to play it on the guitar to see how it sounded." He said

"And...?" I asked him as I listened.

"I like the way it sounds." He smiled. I grabbed his journal that he wrote his music ideas in and a pen. I handed him the two items and he thanked me before flipping to a blank page and scribbling down notes.

"It's a good thing the guys are coming over! Then you can go over it with them and maybe you guys can write your first song!" I exclaimed. Luke stiffened and set his stuff down before scratching the back of his neck.

"Well... Uh.." He mumbled.

"Well uh what?" I asked him crossing my arms over my chest.

"OK promise you won't get upset." He said sticking his pinky out. I looked at it then looked back at him.

"I've always been told to never make a promise if I might not be able to keep it." I told him. He sighed and lowered his hand.

"We've already written a song." He said looking down at the bed.

"Luke... Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him. He looked up at me with a frown.

"I didn't think it was that important." He shrugged.

"SERIOUSLY!? You guys wrote your first song and you didn't think it was important to tell me!? I'm your girlfriend Luke! Everything about your life is important to me!" I told him.

"I'm sorry OK! I just don't think you need to know every aspect of my life!" He snapped.

"You say that yet you expect to know everything about my life!" I yelled standing from the bed.

"Yea but I'm the boyfriend! I need to be able to protect you!" He yelled also standing.

"I can take care of myself Luke! Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean that I can't take care of myself!" I yelled as I paced back and forth tugging at the roots of my hair.

"Why are you making such a big deal about this?!" He questioned grabbing my arm.

"Don't touch me! And I'm making a big deal about it because you thought I wouldn't care about you writing an ACTUAL song!!" I growled.

"You need to calm down." Was all he said before sitting back down.

"You're right Luke, I do need to calm down. Away from you!" I snapped before swinging open Luke's door and storming out.

"Where are you going!?" He asked following me out.

"None of your business." I said. I walked to the door and left with out even bothering to put on shoes.

"Babe!" I heard him yell after me but I just kept walking. Luke was right, I am probably over reacting but I don't care. Why would he think that writing your first song isn't 'a big deal'. It's a huge deal! If it's good enough-which I'm sure it is, they could become famous!

As I was walking down the street I was completely lost in my thoughts when I bumped into someone. I stumbled back, but didn't make a big deal about it. I mumbled a sorry then continued walking when I felt someone grab my wrist which caught my attention.

OK I hope you guys enjoyed this short little chapter! I know it's not very good but it's something xc anyways let's hope I update again soon cx I'm thinking about making a schedule for updating but I'm not sure yet.. Anyways, enjoy! Love y'all!!
