Zoe's POV
Luke and i walked back upstairs and into my room.
"Luke... we need to talk." I said as i sat down in my bed.
"Can it wait until later i just want to snuggle up and watch a movie for now." Luke said as he searched through my movies. I sighed but got up and grabbed some pajamas. I walked into my bathroom and put on an over sized sweatshirt that said 'Unicorn Tears' and some sweatpants. I took off all my makeup and through my hair into a messy bun. When i walked back into the room Luke was laying in bed watching Mean Girls. I laughed and climbed over him to the other side of the bed.
"Goodnight Luke." I said.
"Goodnight? It's like 5 o'clock!" He laughed.
"So what im tired!" I told him and i snuggled into his side. "Haha ok well then goodnight beautiful." He whispered as i drifted off to sleep.
~5 hours later~
I woke up and looked around but couldnt see because the lights and tv were off.
"Luke?" I whispered. No response. I felt around the bed but he wasnt there. I carefully climbed out of the bed and walked to the door and turned on the light. My eyes adjusted to the light and i looked around my room. Where is he?
I opened my door and walked down the dark hallway. The wooden floor was freezing cold but i couldnt feel it much because i was wearing socks. I turned on the hallway light and made my way downstairs. When i got downstairs i saw that the kitchen light was on.
"Mum you need to leave!" I heard Luke whisper yell.
"No Luke! I will not leave unless you come with me! Your father will be back from his trip soon and if you dont come now you know he will make you come home!" Liz snapped.
"Go with your mum Luke." I said walking into the kitchen.
"Baby what are talking about?" He asked walking over to me.
"Luke our relationship is ruining your relationship with your family. You need to go with your mum. Maybe we should take a break..." I whispered trying to hold back my tears.
"Come on Luke she obviously doesnt love you anymore." Liz said.
"Shut up Liz! I'm trying to fucking help you regain a relationship with your son so stop talking!" I said through clenched teeth. She sighed but didnt say anything.
"Zoey im not leaving you! I refuse to let this be the end of us. Remember what happened at the mall?! You cant just leave me after that." Luke begged.
"Luke im sorry..... Please just go and make things better with your mum. We will be together again." I told Luke as tears started to fall from his eyes.
"When?" He whispered.
"Someday..." I told him. He took a deep breath and wrapped me in his arms one last time before leaving with his mum. When i was sure they were gone i ran up to my room and slammed the door making sure it was locked.
I jumped on my bed and burst into tears. I cant believe this is happening. I need Luke in order to be happy! I want him back. Someday. I thought to myself. I called Amanda and asked her to come over and when she got there i broke down even more and she hugged me. I'm so lucky that i have such an amazing best friend.
