Shane's POV
Did Zoey just call me her boyfriend?
"He's YOUR boyfriend!" The girl exclaimed. Zoey and i both nodded our heads and she glared at Zoey.
"Oh yea well if he's your boyfriend then kiss him!" Zoey's face went pale.
"She doesnt need to prove anything to you! We are not gonna kiss just so you can get some kind of sick pleasure out of it!" I said. Zoey smiled at me and mouthed a thank you. The girl just huffed and walked back down the stairs.
"Thank you SO much Shane!!" Zoey exclaimed wrapping her arms around my neck.
"No problemo!" I chuckled.
"NEXT!" I turned around and the lifegaurd was motioning for me to go down the slide.
"See you at the bottom!!" I yelled as i went down the slide. I landed in the water and found my way to the top before swimming away from the slide to wait for Zoey. A couple seconds passed before Zoey splashed into the pool.
"That was AWESOME!" She yelled as she swam over to me. We swam for about an hour before deciding to head home.
~At Shane's house~
I pulled into my drive way and turned the car off before Zoey and i both climbed out and headed to the front door.
"Is it ok if i take a quick shower while i'm here?" Zoey asked me as we headed up the stairs.
"Yea of course!" She smiled and went into my bathroom. When i heard the shower start and the curtain close i quickly took off my swim trunks and changed into some jeans and a t-shirt. I sat on my bed and turned on the tv. As i was scrolling through the channels i heard something buzz. I looked around and noticed Zoey's phone sitting on the floor. I quickly grabbed it and checked the caller i.d, it said Luke. I figured that it might be important so i decided to answer it:
Phone Call
S: Hello?
L: Um... hi. Who is this?
S: Shane. Who's this?
L: Zoey's boyfriend Luke.
S: Oh sup dude!
L: Where is Zoey?
S: She's taking a shower. We just got back from the pool.
L: The pool? Why werent you guys at school?
S: Um.... well i should probably let Zoey tell you that part. Oh she just got out of the shower just a sec... Zoey!! Luke is on the phone!!
Z: Hey babe whats up?
L: What the hell is going on?! Why are you with Shane and not at school?!
Z: I'll explain later tonight after dinner.
L: Fine. My mom wants you to be there at 6.
Z: Ok. I gotta go. Shane can you take me to my house so i can change?
S: Yea of course!
Z: Ok well i'm gonna head home now and get ready so i'll be over soon!
L: Ok. I love you
Z: I love you too Luke
End of phone call
Zoey ended the call and through her phone on my bed.
"You ok?" I asked her as she sat on the edge of my bed and placed her hands over her face.
"Yea i'm fine but lets just head over to my house so i can get ready." She said standing from the bed and gathering her stuff in her arms. I nodded my head and we left.

Hey guys hope you enjoy this short little filler chapter!!! I've been pretty busy lately and it will be like this for awhile because i have an essay due in 2 weeks that count for a grade in my Language Arts class, Biology class, and World Studies....
