Birthday Gone Wrong

Isaac sat in the Cullen-Hale living room a bit confused on why he was here at the moment seeing as Alice had a white board in front of her and if this was some cartoon she would have literal stars in her eyes given the excited look on her face.

Every other Cullen-Hale was also in the living room, looking just about as confused as Isaac was.

Teddy meanwhile was walking around in semi-steady feet, going from one member to the other and giving them hugs.

Livening up the place.

"Alice, why are we all here, besides Edward that is?" Charlotte asked her sister in all but blood.

The excited little fairy (Isaac was somewhat wondering if Alice could have fae blood in her lineage given how much she acts like one, but seeing as Alice has no memories from before she was a vampire, Isaac discarded that thought... For now) wrote some words down on the white board, then she stepped back to allow everyone to see it.

Bella's Birthday Party was written on the board with a ton of exclamation points directly after it and a little drawing of a balloon and party hat.

Rosalie rolled her eyes wondering why she should care about the muggle given all the problems she'd caused earlier that year for them.

"Why is this important?" Emmett decided to ask seeing as no one else seemed to be processing why they needed to know Bella's birthday was coming up.

"Well... I've decided to throw her a birthday party, and I will need your help in decorating for it." Alice said whilst clapping her hands together.

The other members of the coven looked between themselves, wondering deeply if they could get out of this.

Cause no offense to Alice, but when she saw reason for a party, she went all out.

"Are we sure Bella even wants a birthday party?" Isaac asked hesitantly, not wanting to rain on Alice's parade or anything, but Bella didn't seem like the type to celebrate things like that.

At least not in his mind she didn't.

"Well... It's more of a surprise party, but I still need help with setting it up, and you all need to go and shop for birthday gifts since I know none of you have bought anything for her yet." Alice said decisively.

Both Rosalie and Charlotte groaned out loud, definitely not caring about the human enough to get her a birthday present, but knowing that they'd upset Alice if they didn't at least try to get along with the human and get her something.

...

And that was how Isaac found himself in the Seattle Mall, looking at different options for a birthday list.

He had a few thoughts on what to gift Bella already, and all it would take was a simple stop to the Black Family Library, but Rosalie so far hadn't truly had any luck as of yet.

"How about we just go in on a gift for her, I already have the perfect book in mind, and it would save us both from Alice's wrath." Isaac suggested after another hour of tirelessly looking through clothes, jewelry, and a muggle book store.

Rosalie lit up and nodded, looking more relieved than anything that they could get out of here.

"You're the best." She said with a smile and gave him a kiss on the cheek, which made Isaac blush and Rosalie smirk at seeing the soft red coat her boyfriend's cheeks.

Reminding her that he was alive and so very different from the rest of their family, and yet, the way his eyes tinged pink and the top of his curls did too reminded her that whilst he may be alive, he wasn't at all like a normal human either.
