After Isaac's grand proposal in front of the populace of Time Square, the newly engaged couple took their time to get back to their hotel.
They talked about their future, how they wanted the wedding to look, and like who all they'd want to invite.
Rosalie wanted a simple and small wedding, something small and intimate, only close family and friends.
Which was perfectly fine with Isaac, he had never taken the time to think about what he wanted his wedding to look like, but he knew who all he wanted to invite.
When they made it to their room, they relieved Hannah of her babysitting duties, and smiled softly at their son who was asleep in his portable bassinet.
"I never actually thought this day would come." Rosalie said quietly as they laid in bed.
"What do you mean?" Isaac asked with confusion on his face.
"I never thought I'd actually get married after I was bitten. I spent over 70 years alone, believing that I would never get married. So this comes as a big shock really. It was unexpected, but, it was a good unexpected." Rosalie admitted.
Isaac hummed and held her close to him, playing with the new engagement ring on her left ring finger.
"To be honest, neither did I. I truly thought that I would die during the war, and when I didn't, I never thought I'd find someone who I could love unconditionally. Turns out we were both wrong." Isaac said with a small and content smile on his face.
Rosalie kissed the underside of his jaw softly. "I'm happy that we were both wrong." She whispered quietly as Isaac drifted off to sleep with his arms wrapped around her, making her feel safe and warm. She too slowly drifted into her own version of sleep.

The road trip back took longer than they expected.
They had been set to arrive on the 23rd of December, two days before Christmas, but it looks like they'd be a day later, simply because they'd stopped one too many times due to Teddy's need to let loose some energy stored up inside of his tiny one year old body.
Neither Isaac nor Rosalie could think of the horror a toddler Teddy would cause them. Given how excited and energized he was now, they didn't want to know what he'd be like at 2 or 3 years old when he had better coordination that he could run with.
Their only saving grace was that Rosalie and the rest of their coven family could never get physically tired, so they'd be able to keep up with the little tyke.

Denali, Alaska (Two days into Isaac and Rosalie's trip)
The Cullen-Hale Coven had finally reached the top of Denali mountain, which the Denali Coven had called home for centuries.
Edward had gone off on his own soon after they'd all officially left Forks, Washington.
Alice had said he needed some time seeing as being away from Bella for the few hours that he was, was already putting a strain on their partially developed mate bond.
Carlisle had chimed in that seeing as their bond wasn't complete, that they'd probably both experience some type of negative side effects.
But that if Edward wanted to be left alone, then it was his right to be left alone.
Charlotte had quietly complained that if Edward wanted to be alone, he didn't have to drag all of them out of their town with him.
If you couldn't tell, she was still annoyed with having to move so early.
