My eyes were bloodshot red when I looked at myself in the mirror.

Those texts make my stomach churn.

It was Alex. I'm sure of it.

Wrong number?

Of course it's a wrong number... Psh...

How many times have I honestly gotten a wrong number saying next time we meet, to not throw any punches?

Yea.
Never.

I wish I could stay over at Riley's house, but she had to go with her mom to a book signing. Her butler had to take the day off. His daughter was having a baby.

I don't know what to expect. What is he going to do for me? I know there would be consequences for my actions. I also can't forget that I beat Alex, and he might be after me. Him simply just getting a beating from a man riles him up. Let alone a girl? That thought is probably eating him alive.

He would beat me to a pulp.

I really don't want to chance that.

I kicked the rocks as I walked to my home. This community was very quite, minus at night sometimes when the celebrities want to party. My home was a few blocks away, but I can already feel my hairs standing up.

Something isn't right.

I sighed, reaching the doorsteps and unlocked the door.

I looked back at the boy with green eyes and I felt like as if my body had just been slammed against a wall knocking the air out of me.

"Ex- excuse me." I said gasping for air, standing up, walking away from the circle. I immediately started running towards the door. I pushed open the door and tried gasping for air but none came.

I walked over to a bench and sat down, as my body shook. I couldn't breathe.

I can't breathe.

"Breathe like this not like that." A voice said next to my ear, frightening me. I didn't even feel anyone near me. I shook my head and tears started rushing down my face. A arm wrapped around back and the person got close to my ear again.

"Breathe okay.. Breathe."

I shut my eyes.

"I- I can't." I said choking.

"Yes you can." The person pulled me into a hug, and my face was pressed into the persons neck.

Why was I letting a stranger hug me? That's not the task at the moment.

I breathed in and out, in and out, and finally air came. I was engulfed by the persons cologne. I cried into his jacket.

The guy rubbed my back as I cried, feeling no shame.

I had no shame. He didn't know me.

So if this was the only moment that I had to let everything out,

Then that's what I'm going to do.

And that's what I did.

After what felt like an eternity of crying. The person spoke.

"You better?" The voice said quietly.

I froze. I pulled away from and looked at him.

It was the boy with the green eyes.

I walked in and squinted my eyes.

I saw a dark figure sitting in a chair but I couldn't see the persons face. I sighed thinking it was my mother passed out as I kept walking until I heard the voice.

"Hey babe, been great huh?"

I froze.

Alex.

How did he get in my house? This house has security all over!

"U-um what a-re you doing in my house?" I suttered.

I should've expected it.

He sat very calmly and was holding something in his hand that I couldn't really see.

I just wanted to visit." I could see his devilish smirk on his face. He stood up and started walking my way.

I started to back up and I was thinking to run and yell out for help. The only problem was that I couldn't move. I was frozen.

THIS WAS THE MOMENT MY BODY HAD TO DEFY ME?

IN THE TIME THAT I NEEDED HELP?

I kept on telling my body to run but I stayed planted on the ground. When I realized what he had in his hand.

That when my body responded. He had a belt.

What was he going to do whip me?

I bolted for the door but I was too late. He gripped my arm and pulled me towards him.

That's when he slapped me.
