I shuffled in my seat, glancing outside the window on the plane. My mind drifted to the thought of all of us going to New York, being young dumb and beautiful kids. I couldn't help but to think about what it would be like with Hayden.
Nothing would happen. Shut up Cassandra.
Almost take off.
I glanced up, my eyes landing on Julian and Hayden debating about something. I rolled my eyes, glancing down, but not before ease dropping slightly.
"Hayden, just sit down beside her."
My stomach fluttered.
Hayden has been avoiding me, and I don't even know why, but I know that I feel something for him.
I-I-I can't deny it.
I know I'm not the only who feels it. He has to feel it too. He has to feel that stupid connection we have.
It can't be one sided.
"Dude, no. I don't want to sit next to her." Hayden's spoke through gritted teeth. His words stung me like a bee sting, each word to me feeling like a million bricks on my chest. I hissed lowley.
No Cassandra, you're wrong.
It's always one sided.
Everything you have is one sided.
Why am I so naive?
Did I possibly think he had feelings for me?
I scoffed, twisting my body towards the window, leaning back and closing my eyes.
