I felt like my life was slowly being dragged out of me. Two hours of just listening to people boast about how great their businesses are is going just makes me want to blow my brains out. I leaned back into my chair, wishing I can lean my head on Hayden's arm.

The room was quite as people stepped on stage in their expensive tuxedos and custom made dresses, and I started to slowly zone out
You can't really blame me when an event like this makes you want to claw your eyes out.
This is why I don't come to these types events.
Every 10 minutes people would clap and cheer, but everyone in this room knows how boring this is. Doesn't matter your age group or anything. I just come here for the food.
Flashes from cameras everywhere were beginning to make my vision go blurry so I excuse myself from the table and walk out and into a glass room. City lights consumed the view in front of a beautiful midnight blue sky.
I sat down in a chair and closed my eyes.

I don't know how much time passed until I felt a vibration next to my body. I opened my eyes and my hand was wrapped in another's.
Chills went down my spine when I noticed the color of the tuxedo.
White.
The man next to be began laughing and I shot up, jumping out of my seat.
"What the hell were you doing?" I shouted. My blood ran cold starring at him.
"You were sleeping, I didn't want you to get cold." Alex smiled wickedly. I began walking away before his cold hand wrapped around my arm.
"I advise you don't." He gritted his teeth.
"Let me go or i'll scream as loud as I can." I spat.
"You won't Cassandra. I know you." He slightly shoved me away.
"You don't know me. Not even one bit." I snarled. He sat back down before he started laughing again.
"And you think your little boyfriend does?" He smirked.
"Bet you he doesn't even know the real you, now does he? Doesn't know much of a fuck up you are right?" He smiled once again.
"He isn't anything Cassandra."
"Who are you to talk! You are the last person to speak about who I should or not be with." I shouted.
"Be quiet, you're going to wake the neighbors." He joked. I cringed at the sound of his voice.
"Leave me alone Alexander, I swear you have some obsession with me that you just can't shake. GET OVER IT." I shouted once again. He leaped up and stood 3 inches in front of my face, looking deadly. I stumped back before he got a steel grip on my around my arms.
"I wouldn't say such mean things Cassandra." He spoke lowly.
"Let me go." I winced in pain.
"No, I quite like this space, it would be nice if your little boyfriend walked in right now."
"I hope he walks in here too. I'll get to see him beat your ass up into a pulp again." I hissed. He shoved me back up against the wall, his tall frame towering over me.
"How about now, would he think you are a little whore?" He laughed. I shoved him into a glass table, rocking the table and slightly knocking peppermint candies from it's glass holder.
"If you want to keep that pretty little hair on that boy's head I advice that you listen to me and listen very very closely." He clenched his jaw walking back up to me.
"I told you I would make your life a living hell for as long as I can. Do you think I'm going to let that bitch make you happy? Do you really think I'm going to let that little self centered prick have you, let alone anyone else? Take it as a fair warning Cassandra, cause I'll only give you one more and after that it's game over. I promise to last drop of blood flowing in my body it will be game over." His blood- curdling voice rang in my ears before he stormed out of the room.
I ran over to the seat and placed my head in my hands.
It's going to be okay. I whispered. I whispered and whispered until I didn't know what the words meant.
Because I know everything is not okay, and the worse has yet to come.
