Part. 50 -Brain Freeze-

"Will you be mine? Will you be my girlfriend?"

I pulled back and stared at him, furrowing my eyebrows.

Girlfriend?

Wait.

Lean back.

Girl. Friend.

"Yes!" I yelled, jumping up and down like a maniac. He titled his head back and started laughing, and grabbed my face, starring at me. His light green eyes boared into mine and I knew I was sold. He was so hypnotizing. Everything about him. His hands met my waist, pulling me closer.

"Well it's settled then." He whispered huskily, kissing me softly. I closed my eyes, and brought my hands up to his soft hair. I kissed him back, and before anything, he bit on my lower lip and I giggled softly. It felt like heaven, with a slight taste of red velvet from a cupcake he had earlier. I barely even noticed I had lost my breath, and we both pulled back, our breathing unregular. I placed my head on his shoulder, while he wrapped his arms tighter around me.

"I'm hungry." Hayden grunted.

"You always are." I rolled my eyes.

"Taco Bell?"

"Duh."

"Who ever can drink the freeze the quickest, wins this free burrito." Hayden plopped the large burrito wrapped in foil in the middle of the table.

"Psh. Easy." I said with confidence, crossing my arms.

"You're so going to loose." He copied me.

"You're way too confident."

"Cause I know I'm going to win."

Little did he know, I had a trick up my sleeve. Riley and Me used to do this all the time during the summer. He didn't know that I was the champ. I always won.

"Good luck." I smirked.

"On your marks, get ready, set, GO!"

I held on tightly to my pink strawberry freeze and slurped through my straw with the left side of my mouth. I slurped at a good speed, small shocks of coldness flooding my system. I looked up at Hayden who was half way done with the drink, and I knew I was falling behind.

No! He can't win! I want that burrito!

"Ah! Damn it! Brain Freeze!" Hayden shouted, gripping onto his head. I laughed, and kept on drinking. With satisfying loud slurp coming from the straw, I stood up and threw my hands in the air, shouting

'I Won!'

Hayden mumbled under his breath, and shoved the large burrito onto my plate.

"That wasn't fair. You cheated. I was having a brain freeze!" Hayden frowned.

"Don't be a cry baby. " I grinned.

"Sorry I laugh through my tears." Hayden deadpanned, slurping on his straw. I laughed, shaking the burrito in my hand.

"Finders keepers, losers weepers." I sang.

"You didn't even find it! It was here the whole time!" He gaped.

"That isn't what Brendon said." I crossed my arms.

"He said if you love it let it go, so let that burrito go." Hayden smirked.

"Well , I don't agree."

Hayden rasied his eyebrows.

"How?"

"I don't believe you should not let go what you love, you should chase it. Just common sense." I shrugged, taking a large bite out of the burrito.

"But what if you have to let it go?" Hayden's happy tone drained from his voice.

"You can let it go, doesn't mean you have to stop loving it." I said slowly, watching his facial expression change drastically in the matter of seconds. Went from happy to serious to sad to happy. Sounds like me.

"But what if you're hurting yourself for loving something that you let go?"

"Well that's the price of love. Makes you do crazy things. It doesn't matter how you feel, you sacrifice that for whatever you love. That's just the way it works." I whispered.

"Sounds like something I would have to do with you."

I'm kinda in love with how I ended this chapter, and everything about this chapter makes me so happy, you guys have no idea. Ahhhhh I'm so happy.
