UNI'S SECOND EPIC ART BOOK

Some horrible stuff is happening to a relative of one of my mom's clients and from what she's told me, it's been happening for a long time. I'll start by saying it's a male, 10 years older than me. I'm not releasing much personal info on him because it's way more respectful than what his parents/conservators have been doing and I don't know him that well since I've only seen him a couple times.

Now, he's a special needs adult like I am and he's also LGBTQ+. His parents are Christians. What do we know about Christians? A lot of them are against the LGBTQ+. As a special needs individual, he's got his own fair share of mental problems that have led them to obtain conservatorship over him. Some of it is trauma from a past gay relationship that doesn't necessarily affect him too much today.

But, here's where it gets crazy, guys. They have full conservatorship over this guy and they're using their religion and that relationship to keep him from growing and developing while saying they want him to improve. He's graduated high school, can read, write, do math, and plenty of other things. He tried college but, due to his ADHD, he couldn't complete it. On top of that, he was chasing gay relationships so, they pulled him out of school. I was also told he went to a day center in our town I believe and now, they're probably gonna pull him out of that for the same reason, too. If I had known there was a day center out here, I would've gone in there and I would've had the chance to get to know him better. I would've been the first to find out he's gay but, his parents are abusing what power they have as his conservators. I only hope he can figure out what his plan is if they kick him out, disown him, and surrender conservatorship all because he's gay.

If I had known and attended the day center with him, I would've been able to hook him up with extra resources and asked if we could take him in. As an ace, I wouldn't hate or judge because we aces already see too much of that directed at us even from other LGBTQ+ folks.
