CHAPTER TWELVE: van pelt reunion

"No, I'm mad at him," Malachi tells Jax and Jason, as they walk toward Emma's house. "I get Maddie is his girlfriend, but, he didn't even try to hear me out. Just immediately went to her side." He huffed.
Jason was a few steps ahead, already at the door and opening it. Duck tape suddenly wrapped around him, making his dress in his spot.
"Jason?" Emma questioned.
"Em?" He asked back.
"Jason," Liana jumps up, no longer crouching.
Jax and Kai walked in, confused to see Jason tied up.
"Mom?" Jax asked the woman standing next to Emma.
"Jax," the woman smiled.
"Hey! Feeling kind of life out over here," Andi speaks.
"Mom, what are you-" Jason turned, unable to walk with his legs duct-tapped. And fell over.
"Ow. A little help?"
Jax pulled him up, as Emma casted a spell to untie him.
"Sorry. We thought you were someone else." Emma tells her boyfriend.
"Oh. Who's those?" Liana asked, as she turned to Kai with a kind smile.
"We'll give you three some privacy," Emma tells the twins and their mother.
"We will?" Andi asked.
Emma pulled Andi to the kitchen.
"I don't know how much privacy-" kai begins, but, Jax takes his hand, standing in front of his mother.
"Mom, this is Kai," Jax speaks.
"Kai," Liana smiled. She extended her hand. "I'm Liana."
"Kai is my boyfriend," Jax added.
Liana stayed smiling. "It's nice to meet you, Kai."
"It's nice to meet you, too," Kai smiled back.
"Kai," Emma calls softly, jerking her head to the kitchen.
