I continued to get weird calls and texts and I finally stood up for myself.
'You know what? Leave me the hell alone. Kendall threatens me! She hurts me and my friends Physically, and mentally! She always says she changed but she never does!!!! So leave me and my friends alone. Her and Erin are low life's who aim to make people feel bad about themselves! Leave me the f*** alone you creepy asshole!' I text him. And get a reply back an hour later.
'You will regret what you said. It will cause you a life.' I'm freaked out and I tell the girls to watch out for weirdo callers. Little did I know, that wasn't enough.
Monday morning something was off. It felt to empty, to quiet. I sensed it and after first period started an announcement called me to the office.
"Could Kaylee Johnson, Amanda Morley, Jade Summers and Savannah Woods please come to the office." We exchanged glances and our teacher gave us the go ahead nod and we slided out of our seats and ran up the stairs. Racing each other like kids. Little things like this bring joy to me for seeing the sparkles of happiness in our eyes. When we get to the top of the staircase we are laughing breathlessly. But our fun was soon busted.
"Girls, my office. Now." Ms. Russ our principle said walking Infront of us. We walked in silence with poker faces the rest of the way. Ms. Russ was older and taller. She had blue eyes and short brown hair, and was very tall.
"Girls- I'm afraid I've got some bad news." She said sounding genuinely sad. We looked like sad puppy dogs and listened.
"Last night at about 8:30 um.. There was a- uh 911 call came in last night from your friend Sophia." I felt all blood drain from my cheeks and exchanged looks with Kaylee.
"When police showed up at the scene- um I'm so sorry girls, she was dead."
"She was dead."
