School ends and we walk over to Jades house for a couple hours. Her dads okay with the whole crew coming over as he understands our situation.

'You know I'd fall apart without you

Don't know how you do what you d-'

My phone rings, I look at the contact and excuse myself to a quieter room.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hello Savannah. This is Sophia's Father." My stomach shrinks.

"I'm so, so sorry Mr. Davies." I say into the speaker peice.

"Thankyou Savannah. This is a hard time for us, but we do have to plan Sophia's Funeral, and my wife and I discussed this and well- we were wondering if you would speak at the ceremony." Wow. Didn't see that coming what do I say?

"May I have a day to think about it and get back to you?" I ask.

"Of course, Sweetie. Talk to you later."

"Thankyou, hang in there." I hang up and walk back into the living room.

"Who was that?" Emily asked. I just looked blankly at my phone and didn't process the question. She questioned my name again.

Sophia's dad." I slowly admit. They questioned me about the call and I explained he wanted me to speak at the funeral. 'Why is this happening? Can't I just be a normal teenager, without dead friends?' I think to myself. Sam could see the emotions in my eyes. And for once, we was being sincere. Nothing sexual, no stupid jokes, he put his arm around me and I could tell he actually felt bad, this was a different side of him. Jade came and lay on my lap while I played with her hair threw my fingers. Emmette and Kaylee were fighting over the TV. Emily was leaning against Jade, talking to Amanda and James. Our group was smaller. None of us would forget that day. Ever.
