A 6'2 guy, bigger with facial hair walks in. 'He so looks like a Hershel.'
"Savannah. Get up sweet cheeks." He says pointing a gun towards us. As I start to merge up a hand pulls me back down and a moan saying 'no' following.
"I said, Get up!" He says shooting the ground next to us. I slowly stand, straightening my knees out. He grabs my arm and pulls me close to him forcefully and I fumble over to him.
"Do you know how long I have waited for this?" He whispers trying to seduce me close to my ear. I elbow him in the gut as hard as I can and yell "BITE ME." he cringed in pain, but not letting go of me. He tightens his grip on me.
"You shouldn't have done that. You, get up." He says pointing at Emily.
"No!" I yell.
"Shh, I won't hurt her. Physically." He says lining up my friends in a semi circle. 'He's making them watch?!' I struggle in his grip doing what I can to hurt him, with very little affect.
"Keep struggling and I'll hurt them too." He says holding me close.
"You won't hurt them?" I ask surprised. It's weird, maybe I'm just in shock, I feel nothing about my life yet. Only my friends.
"Only if you don't struggle." He spits. I turn half way looking at him half at my friends. He positioned me so they were the last scared faces I saw, but also so I could look down his barrel.
Why aren't I scared. Why aren't I crying? Why aren't I sweating? Why aren't I begging for my life? I stand here looking down the barrel of his gun. I take a glance around me. First, I see Emily. Eyes stained red, and puffy. Next to her I see Kaylee, who's big brown eyes are glazed with tears but she's trying to be brave. I scan over to Amanda now. She is clinging into James. They both have pain written across their faces. Jade has lost so much. I can tell she's thinking about the past and now what will happen to me. Last,
I see Emmette. He looks mad, and afraid. He doesn't look sad for me. He's thinking something
through.
"You ready sweet cheeks?" I remembered.
"You're going to let them go?" I confirmed. He just laughed.
"You're going to let them go." I said firmly.
"I won't hurt them." He said smugly and satisfied. Why aren't I scared? Maybe my instinct to not react kicked in. I glance at my friends one last time.
"I'm ready." My voice cracked and a tear fell. There it is. Every second seems like an hour, making them watch is like his own way of getting off from it.
"Alright then, any last requests dollface?" He asks, so proud of himself.
"Don't make them watch." I croak.
"Mmm nope." I close my eyes tightly as he resets his gun. '3.....' My whole life flashes before my eyes. '2.......' My awards, my family. '1.....' My friends, Emily, Kaylee, Jade, Emmette, Sophia, Amanda, James, Sam.... It happens. 'BAM' I hear it, I feel something and then nothing but the cold hard ground, and then nothing but blackness.
