I breathed a small sigh of relief and subtly nodded before I looked at the rest of the group that was gathered with us in the room, pressing my lips into a thin line. "I will be fine and will be back shortly," I said curtly. "You don't need to follow me."

"But you will be watched over, right?" Lorcian asked and raised an eyebrow in question while he studied me, and I nodded and pressed my lips into a thin line.

"Isen will be nearby," I said curtly. "He'll make sure that I stay safe and that no one sees me while I shift into both forms."

Ethan shifted but didn't stand like I knew he wanted to. He didn't say a word, and I knew that he was going to follow me, even though I had told him that he didn't have to follow me at all.

"Are you going to come back?" Lorcian asked, his voice barely above a whisper, and I nodded in confirmation.

"I will," I promised before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet. "Now, excuse me, I need to go."

Before I do something that I regret.

I started to walk away and paused when Lorcian called my name. I didn't say a word or turn in his direction while I stared at the path in front of me in the direction I wanted to go in.

"I am sorry," he said and tucked his head closer to his chest as if he knew he was the cause of my distress, especially since he didn't tell me what I was hiding. "Can you forgive me?"

Please..?

I set my jaw and pressed my lips into a thin line without saying a word to my mate. My whole body started to shake, and my Spirits started to shift in my mind, getting antsy and ready to shift into their forms and take control.

"She will," Ethan said and nodded. "However, she needs to leave now before her spirits force her to shift, which is something you do not want to happen. It'd be painful for all three of them."

Lorcian sighed and moved a hand through his hair and across his face. "Ok," he said before he cleared his throat and shifted in his seat. "Then go. I will see you when you get back."

I nodded before I left, trying but failing to keep myself from running toward the door so that I could escape.

"Are you going after her?" Lorcian asked from the living room as if he thought that I couldn't hear him, and I had a feeling that he was talking to Ethan.

"I will as soon as she leaves the house," Ethan said and nodded. "She already knows that I will be there and will not interfere with whatever it is that she needs to do."

"Good," Lorcian said. He sighed and sat back down in the chair he had resided in before he stood when I stood. "Then let her know that I am sorry, a-"

Bang!

I opened and slammed the door shut when I reached it and bolted into the woods with tears pricking the corners of my eyes.

A small shiver went down my spine, and I knew that Isen made me invisible to the world just as Sinopa shoved forward, wanting to be let out first.

I didn't hold her back and let her take control of our shared body while I took a back seat and moped.

Sinopa ran full force toward somewhere where she would be alone and able to attack the trees.

She stopped when she felt like she was a good distance away before she started to attack the trees and bushes, snarling and growling, and for a moment, I had this sense of deja vu of when I had been so angry all of those years ago when we attacked everything that was in sight.

Finally, she felt better and started to pull back while Majesty took control without us having to say a word to her, and she quickly shifted us into her form with a loud howl that no one was able to hear.

However they would feel the effects of it with the whole ground seeming to shake with how powerful that howl was.

She snarled and launched her attack on the ground and stuff Sinopa hadn't broken with her angry tirade.

She snarled and growled while she attacked everything, each growl she let out shaking the whole ground that was near her.

Finally, she had her fill of chaos and stood in the middle of the field with our head lowered to the ground and our breathing labored.

She shook out our body before she laid down and rested our head on her paws, relenting control back to me.

I closed my eyes while I continued to breathe, trying to control my breathing and have it not come out in pants.

Something, or someone, stepped on a branch while they made their way toward me, and I instantly stood with a growl and narrowed my eyes.

My ears were pinned to the back of my head while I waited for whatever it was that had broken a branch to go further into the area that I was located in. The hair on the back of my neck stood at attention while I waited, not knowing if whatever it was was a threat or not.

Oh Goddess, keep me safe...

Ethan walked into the area and looked around with furrowed brows and lips pressed into a thin line. His gaze went over me, and I could tell that he wasn't able to see me.

However, he wasn't too worried because he knew that I was nearby. He knew that I wouldn't leave this area the way I had it, with all of the destruction and death I had caused even if it was just plants and the ground.

He sighed and shook his head, moving a hand through his hair and across his face while he pursed his lips in annoyance. "Can I see her now, Isen?" he asked nothing while he lifted his head just a tad. "I am the only one here, and you were the one that led me here."

I rolled my eyes and laid down, resting my head on my paws while I bit back a tired sigh. I didn't care if Isen let Ethan see me or not, knowing full well that he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.

Just make sure that no one else can come over here, please...

There was this shift, and I knew that I could be seen by the other male when Ethan breathed a small sigh of relief and started to walk over to me.

"Do you feel better, Jo?" he asked when he reached me, and I could pick up on the slight teasing tone in his voice. "Or do you need to actually fight someone or something and not the ground?"

I rolled my head and scowled but didn't shift into my human form. I flicked my tail in greeting before I let it grow relaxed, and Ethan chuckled and slowly nodded.

He moved a hand through my fur and brushed some of the dirt that had ended up getting caked into it. "You're going to need a bath, Jo," he said, and I rolled my eyes and snorted. "You are dirty."

I grunted and moved so that he would be able to sit down beside me, and he sighed and sat down while he rested his head on my side.

"Are we going to talk later?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question, and I nodded in confirmation while I closed my eyes tighter shut.

The warrior chuckled and nodded. "Ok," he said, "then we can sit like this until you are ready to shift into your human form so that we can talk. I don't mind waiting until the end of time, if it comes to that, Jo."

You have my word...
