I made it back to the packhouse without anyone seeing me and felt accomplished. I took the hood of my cloak off and looked around, surveying the kitchen to see that nothing had changed except for the air that I breathe.

No longer was there this tension that had rested on the pack and made it hard to breathe. No longer did anger linger, and people didn't have to act as if they were walking on eggshells, praying that the Alpha wouldn't blow up on them and kick them out of the pack, even though he hadn't done that.

The air was light and bright, filled with happiness and relief. There was a little mischief in it as if the air knew something that the people that resided in it didn't, and I had a feeling that it knew I was there, waiting to be found and to lead the pack in a direction that would help not only this generation but the ones that follow.

The house stood taller and felt more welcoming, becking guests to come and take a load off, to stay and be welcomed into the tight-knit community of wolves. All because the Alpha wasn't underneath a spell from a stupid Dryad.

Taking a deep breath in, I closed my eyes and let the house welcome me back into its awaiting arms, welcoming me into a position that I did not know if I was qualified for or not.

I sighed and shook my head, clearing me of that thought. I was qualified for it; a part of me knew that but there was that one small seed, planted from my youth, that told me that I wasn't good enough. I wasn't good enough to be either the Luna of this pack or the queen, stepping up once my father stepped down.

Even though I was the first Commander of a group of fighters, respected throughout the clans.

I growled and moved my hand through my hair that couldn't be tamed before I walked to the freezer to scout for some ice cream.

A smirk appeared on my face when I saw Colt's ice cream with big bolded letters saying: DO NOT TOUCH on it, and I didn't just touch it; I took it.

I walked to the area where they kept the spoons and took one before I closed the door. Sighing, I went to the table, sat down, waited for someone to find me, and started eating the ice cream.

'Where are you?' Ethan asked. 'We are in the house.'

'Find me,' I replied, munching on the ice cream. I closed my eyes, loving the fact that Colt had decided to get something with chocolate because I loved chocolate. I made a soft noise, making sure that no one could hear me while I took another bite of ice cream, enjoying the cold and the sweetness of it.

Ethan paused, and I could tell that he was annoyed when I didn't tell him where I was. However, he didn't say a word while he thought of the places that I could be. 'Kitchen?' he asked finally, and I hummed. He smirked, and I felt him become satisfied with his answer and knew that he started to walk towards the kitchen, leading whoever with him. 'I take that as a yes. We will be there shortly.'

I didn't reply while I savored the ice cream that I had st- taken from Colt. I stuck the spoon back into the ice cream, my ear twitching when I heard the door to the kitchen open.

"Why i- Hey, why did you steal my ice cream? I thought I had a sign that said 'do not touch.'"

I turned around and looked to see Colt, Troy, Ethan, Ari, and Lorcian standing at the door, staring at me with relief and other emotions flowing through their eyes. "Yes," I replied, nodding my head in confirmation. "And you did, but I didn't care." I stabbed the ice cream and scooped up a large bite before stuffing it into my mouth.

Colt pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes teasingly, and I raised an eyebrow in question. "Seriously?" he asked, and I nodded in confirmation. He pouted, his eyes dancing with amusement. "Why?"

I made sure to finish the bite and wiped my mouth with my sleeve, fully aware that I had some ice cream all over my face because of that large bite. "Because my cousin isn't here, and I wanted ice cream," I replied. I cleared my throat and licked my lips, and I felt Lorcian's gaze on them, and both of my spirits stirred. "And yours was the only one that I saw."

"Did you even look?" He raised an eyebrow and cocked his head. A smile curled onto his lips, and I knew that he didn't care.

"No," I answered, shaking my head, and he snorted amused. I placed the cover over the ice cream and set the spoon on top. I stood and was about to walk over to them when I felt arms wrap around my waist. I hugged the person back and placed a kiss on their forehead. "Hello, Little Mermaid. How are you?"

"Happy that you are back," Ari replied, honestly. She scowled and slapped my back, and I chuckled because I called her "Little Mermaid." "Are you going to leave again?"

"I wasn't planning on it," I replied. I squeezed her one last time before I pulled away and surveyed the three men, besides Ethan, before me and raised an eyebrow. "Unless you three have a problem with it."

Lorican shook his head and walked over to me, and Ari moved out of his way. He placed a soft kiss on my lips, and my wolf and fox spirits begged for me to let him take me and make me his in all ways possible. "No," he said, pulling me into a hug, and I felt safe in his arms while I placed my arms around him and ignored my spirits. He kissed the side of my head, and I closed my eyes and enjoyed the warmth he provided me. "I don't have a problem with you staying here, and I never will."
