Several days after the academy attack by Dornar that left the region destroyed, a lone individual stands atop a floating purple mountain. Ryuka blasting the left lane of monsters with a extremely condensed MP Omega chest beam killing thousands, the half-Overbooster transformation gave it extra punch warping the land. Infusing it with a dangerous dark power, the land rose and remains perpetually airborne floating.
On top of it examining the land, the white arachne Kumoko stands not a few hundreds of feet from where Ryuka was days before. The ground and buildings uprooted and destroyed, thousands of decomposing extinct monsters littering the land, the very floating landmass she was standing on! Seeing all of this, Kumoko's eye twitched with her giving an awkward smile.
Kumoko: I am......AMAZED, impressed even, of how bad Wrath screwed up... Seriously, he deserves a gold medal for driving Ryuka away, Losing Our Classmates And Teacher, AND PUTTING A WORLD WIDE BOUNTY ON- GAAAAAAAAH!!!
Everything that could go wrong, did. All her worst nightmares and fears, happened. Knowing the possibility of something catastrophic like this was possible, she thought Sophia and Wrath could handle it. The first sighting of Ryuka's mother in years, she had to go there instead or else Yilki might've disappeared again. Regretting not coming here and smoothing things over with Ryuka herself, the two confident men she knew hated each other.
Kumoko: Ryuka is the type, but Wrath?! Why do boys always have to assert their dominance or whatever!? WHY did Wrath have to say all that extra stuuuuuff...
Her top human half slumping backwards onto her abdomen covering her face with her hands, Kumoko's spider legs give out as her bottom half sprawls across the rock floor. Having the worst day of her life, then Orion disappeared without a trace! Sending him to spy on Dornar, she obviously wanted to confront him, but with Ryuka becoming a target she had to find him first and keep him safe.
Disheartened, Kumoko waves her hand and opens a system screen. On the main page, Ryuka's general 100 Mile radius of where he could be. Everyone getting it and the [Herald Of Calamity] skill, it meant D's rule was broken and he learned the curse on her. A.O. the one person who could have told him, she could only guess what was going through her mind.
Kumoko: A.O...
As Kumoko was sitting on the flying mountain, a unattached far away voice enters her mind via Telepathy. A familiar one, she went to investigate the Middle Stratum 14 years ago and tried to kill both Ryuka and Kumoko. Circumstances and events having changed over the years during Ryuka's slumber, Ariel the Demon King and Kumoko were now allies. Checking up on her, Ariel was in demon territory talking from across the world.
Ariel: How's the process of getting in touch with A.O.? Any luck?
Kumoko:...Telepathy, teleport gates, long-range vision, the tracking beacon, nada. D took a bat and smashed the Wi-Fi router for anything that goes long distance in Ryuka's 100 Mile radar, It's a complete black zone.
D the administrator of the system taking no shortcuts, she ensured finding Ryuka would be a challenge disabling certain skills and magic if they even dared tried to be cast in his direction. Trying to brute force and cast a teleport gate, D installed a failsafe and Kumoko's soul experienced an electric shock.
Kumoko being Ariel's best espionage and stealth agent hitting a brick wall, Ariel on the other side switched to a displeased tone knowing other forces were soon to be on the move. D's skill she sent out, [Herald Of Calamity], contained various information on the Calamity Dragon's history and abilities. One of those abilities Potimas was sure to desire, the power to quickly and effortlessly make deities...
Ariel: If the elves get their hands on Ryuka first, they'll torture him until he uses [Divinity Expansion] and make Potimas a god. That maniac CAN'T become a god, just the thought of him winning and getting what he always wanted-!
