Months ago (Chapter 18)
A few hours after Ryuka's and Dornar's first interaction ending along with the ceremony, Oka was heading back to her room for the night. Opening the door and lighting up the candles, she can see Ryuka waiting on her bed. Being her designated familiar so he can be allowed inside the academy, Oka enters and closes the door behind her.
Oka: Ryuka, you left so suddenly, we thought-
Y/N: Oka, do you know of any reincarnations named 'Dornar'?
Ryuka meeting Dornar outside after leaving the party, Ryuka was caught talking and Dornar figured him out. Having a long chat after that, Ryuka interrogated Dornar, Dornar gave some tips about Kumoko to Ryuka, and Ryuka answered some strange questions Dornar gave about Earth, and he left. Overall not a very bad or hostile interaction, although Ryuka did get very annoyed and ticked off with Dornar's attitude. Just because it was good though, Ryuka couldn't ignore some of the things he said and brought it to Oka. Telling her all the details, Oka listened to everything Ryuka told her closely.
Y/N:-And before that he was saying something about 'Being a reincarnation and native to this world'? It was confusing...
Oka: Hmmm, and he said to tell me about someone?
Y/N: Yeah, I think the name he mentioned was...Kunihico?
Upon hearing that name the tense atmosphere the room had calmed down a little with Oka becoming more relaxed.
Oka: Kunihico?! Now I see! Kunihico is also one of my students. When he and one other reincarnation was attacked by a monster at a young age, he said a man called Dornar came and saved them. Because of their common low birth, they weren't able to join the Academy, and because they had their own plans they refused my offer to the elf village and became adventurers.
Helping and teaching them how to fight after that, the two reincarnations and Dornar departed after returning them home. Telling Oka years later about the man that saved them, this was the first time though that she learned that Dornar had knowledge and came from Earth. Thinking about the timeline of them being children and Dornar a full adult body, it didn't add up.
Oka: From what my students told me and what you said, the most likely option is him being reincarnated in this world several years before us, but I'm not sure.
Oka crossing her arms, her two other students fully trusted him, but she couldn't accept that opinion due to obvious bias. If this was the first Non Japanese reincarnation, she would have been on high alert and suspicious, but due to Ryuka being from America it complicated things. Was he an enemy or just another unlucky soul? As Oka pondered that, Ryuka still sitting on the bed added.
Y/N: Dornar and my dragon father Araba both said reincarnation isn't something new. And since the concept exists on Earth, maybe it's more common than we thought?
Depictions of reincarnation and gods being present on Earth as Ryuka said, she couldn't rule out there was maybe more reincarnations in this world from Earth, and maybe individuals from other planets also present that they haven't encountered. Until Oka met Dornar, she couldn't be certain of anything.
Oka: I would have several questions to ask but If I ever meet him, the first thing I would do is very much like to thank Dornar for taking care of and saving my students. I'm sure he is a reasonable and kind person...
