Prepping Nursery

Killian picked up Emma at work in the afternoon. Emma was surprised to see Killian standing by her yellow bug. "Your Daddy is picking us up girls." She waddled over to her yellow bug. "Hi."

"Hi, love." They kiss. "How was your day?"

"Only two cases today. Are you working today?"

"I did. I wanted to spend time with my girlfriend who I missed all day."

"We missed you all day."

Killian kissed her baby bump. "Little loves, you are with Papa."

"Can we go to the paint store in town? Since we are both free, I want to pick the paint for the nursery together."

"That is a splendid idea." He drove his swan into town. "Are you hungry?"

"I am a little hungry."

"Where do you want to go?"

"Granny's?"

"I have not been there in a while."

"Me too. Since our routine has changed since we moved, you drive Henry to preschool as I head to work in the morning."

"Swan, Henry enjoys breakfast at home. I know he wants to have his mornings with his Mommy."

"On my next day off, I will take Henry to Granny's for breakfast or maybe to movie again?"

"The little lad loves Scooby Doo. He and I watch it together when you are at work or sleeping."

Emma smiles. "Creating your daughters who love to be noticed when I am in the operating room passing instruments, I am very tired after work. I am glad you and Henry are bonding."

Killian found a parking spot in town. He assisted Emma out of the yellow bug, and held hook and hand to Granny's. Emma ordered a grilled cheese and onion rings. Killian ordered cheese burger, fries and water. "How about you and I come here after I pick you up after work."

"During my cravings?"

"Yes. THat I can do." Emma chuckles. "What?"

"You are making me laugh."

"I love seeing you laugh, love."

"You always make me happy. Our daughters are going to love you so much."

"Aye, I am very excited father to be to our two daughters. I am going to raise them with you."

"Even overnight feedings and diaper changes with no sleep."

"Yes, I am ready. We are going to have one baby in our arms at all times, love."

She held his hook knowing he is not lying to her. "So am I."

"We make the perfect team."

"Yes, we do, we are team Swan-Jones."

"Soon to be team Jones." Killian smiles, Emma eventually wants his last name.

After lunch, the couple went to the paint store. He was very patient with his girlfriend who took her time to choose paint colors. He chose light green colors. Emma chose yellow and pink.

It took the couple a while but the couple decided on paint color. He bought two cans of paint and painting supplies for the twins' nursery. "I do need your help to add decorations to the walls of the nursery. I also been looking up designs."

"What do you have in mind?"

"These." She shows the design on her iPhone, which were Disney princess theme and a nautilus theme, Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella, and Aurora. "I want them on the walls. We can order them prints..."

"I can outline them on the walls, love. I need to paint first."

"Right." They kiss.

He sets the paint and supplies in the trunk of the yellow bug. "Love, I will drive." He drove his swan home. "I will start painting the nursery today. The first coat. The color you chose is very pretty love."

"I did. We did."

"I wanted light green."

"Okay, I chose it.." Killian unloaded the car with pain supplies, covers for the floors and paint brushes and paint cans inside the house. Emma went to take a shower and change out of her scrubs.

Killian laid out the canvases and changed into an old shirt and jeans. He began painting his daughters' room walls rose pink.

Emma finished her shower and changed into an oversized shirt and sweatpants. She waddles to finding Killian painting the nursery. She rubs her baby bump, her daughters are very lucky to have Killian as their loving, caring, and supportive father-to-be.

Snow White arrives with Henry. "Mommy?"

Emma waddles downstairs. "Hi, kid!"

"Mommy!" He hugged his Mommy's baby belly. "Hi, sissys!!" He kissed his Mommy's baby bump.

"How was preschool?"

"It was fun! I like coloring in preschool. Papa home?"

"He is painting your sisters' bedroom. You can play in the living room." Henry went to play. "Thank you for picking him up."

"You are welcome." She hugged her daughter. "How are you and my granddaguhters feeling?"

"I had a long day at work. Your granddaughters were moving around while I was working in the operating room."

"I have time to talk."

"We can talk. I just need to put my feet up." They went to the kitchen. Emma sat in the chair with her feet up. Snow White made hot cocoa with cinnamon.

Henry entered the bedroom, seeing his Papa painting. "Papa!"

"Hi son!"

"You are painting?"

"Yes, Mom and I chose paint for Hope and Siennas' room."

"Can I help?"

"No, son."

"I want to help."

"It is my job to paint the nursery. After I finish up painting, we can play pirates!"

"Yay! Henry leaves the room. Killian finishes painting the first coat of paint of his daughters' nursery.

Emma waddles upstairs to see her daughters' nursery and sees it rose pink. "Killian, it is perfect."

"It is? It just the first coat of paint, love."

"I love the color. You did a great job." She hugged her boyfriend.

"I enjoy painting our daughters' nursery. It is a fun project." He placed his hands on her baby bump. "I will do anything for our daughters."

"This is only the start of our daughters' nursery prep."

"We are going to build this nursery together." They kiss. Emma has ideas to decoarte the room. Killian and Emma are prepping gor the arrival of their twin daughters, Hope and Sienna.
