Need More Sleep

In the morning, Emma drove Henry into town to buy his school uniform since school was starting soon. Killian was at home with the twins, and Ashley was visiting the twins. Emma made sure her son had his uniform for the whole school year. They went to Granny's. She and Henry ordered their usuals. "I miss Gwannys wif you, Mommy."

"Me too, kid. We are going to do this often when you start school."

"Now too?"

"Yes. Your sisters can keep me up at night, kid."

"They cwy a lot. Can they come wif us here? They will love the food here."

Emma smiles, her son was thinking of his baby sisters. "We can take them here tomorrow for lunch with us. Do you like the sound of that?"

"Yes! I want to show people my sisters." Emma chuckles.

Granny returns to their booth with their drinks. "Emma, Killian comes by and shows me photos of the twins, they are adorable."

"Thank you, Granny. They have been keeping Killian and me up most of the night."

"If you need an extra pair of hands, I can watch them."

"Thank you, Granny. I appreciate it." She leaves the table.

In the afternoon, Emma and Killian return from town. Henry sees his Papa. "Papa! I got my school uniform!" He shows his Papa his uniform.

"You are going to look so good in your school uniform."

"Mommy said big kids wear uniforms in school. Even kindergartners!"

"Wow!"

Buckley greets Henry. He goes play with his pet dog.

"How were the twins when I was out?"

"They were good. We played a little before they took another nap."

"I brought you food from Granny's. Henry and I went there after school shopping." They snuggled on the couch enjoying time to themselves.

Killian woke up, "I have to go check on the pub."

"I will see you later."

"Yes!" They kiss.

Emma read Henry a book and practiced his letters. The babies began crying. She went up to their nursery where both of her daughters were in one crib.

"My girls, why are you two crying!" She takes Hope out of the crib first. "Mama is home. Mama is here." Sienna wailed. She sets Hope in the carrier then takes Sienna out of her crib. The crying went on. She rocked them in the rocking chair and walked around.

Henry showed them Disney plush dolls to try to cheer them up. "I twy."

"You did, kid. They are not in a good mood. You can go play. When they are asleep, we will play!" Henry went downstairs. "My baby ducklings, I do not like it when you are both sad." She tried breastfeeding them, which did not work.

She was exhausted and really needed a shower. Henry returns to his Mommy and baby sisters in his parents' room. She set them in the doc-a-tot." Henry is playing with his toys next to his baby sister. "Hope, no cwy. No cwy." Hope stops crying and looks at her big brother.

Emma was relieved her daughter stopped crying. Henry smiles big. "You pway wif me, Hopey."

She sets her daughter on the bed. "Henry, be gentle to Hope."

"I am not going to hurt Hope." He was showing his sister his toy trucks. Hope moves around.

"She is saying let's play, kid." Hope coos and moves around.
