Milestone

David arrives at his daughter's house,he puts the meals that Snow made in the refrigerator. Killian was at the pub. Henry was at school. He finds his daughter snuggling with his granddaughter who was wearing a floral onesie. Sienna was sleeping the doc-a-tot. "There are my three princesses."

Emma smiles seeing her Dad. "Hi, Dad. I did not know you were coming by."

"I want to see my three princesses. I left a few meals in the refrigerator."

"Dad..."

"Mom cooks the meals, I bring them."

"Thank you." She yawns. "I do not have time to cook anymore."

He sits on the bed. "I saw Killian in town.."

"He dropped off Henry at school on the way to work." Hope makes a sound.

"How are my baby princesses?"

"We have been snuggles after playtime." Hope fusses. "Oh, Hope. You want Grandpa to hold you?"

David smiles as his daughter sets his granddaughter in his arms. "Hi, baby princess. Gramps is here." Hope stop fussing. "You have gotten so big since the last time I saw you. Yes." Hope coos.

Emma smiles her father was able to soothe her daughter. She sets Sienna on her chest. "They are both gaining weight which is a good sign."

"How are the sleep apnea monitors while they are sleeping?"

"It has been an adjustment. It is getting easier to put on them even when they are sleeping." Sienna coos. She kissed her daughter on the head. "The girls sleeping in one crib during the night has been interesting."

"Interesting how?"

"Hope would be trying to move onto Sienna waking her up." David chuckles, his granddaughter clearly takes after his daughter. "Then her monitor will make a sound, making her Mama very worried." Hope moves around. Sienna coos. "Yes, you and Hope play in your crib!" Sienna smiles. She kissed her daughter on the head.

"How are you doing?"

"Very tired but very happy. Being a mother of two 3 month olds and a five year old wonderful and exhausting at the same time. Even with Killian up all the time with me with the twins day and night, I am exhausted... "

"You are not alone, you have us to give attention to the child when you have your hands full with the other."

"I am just thankful my daughters are home and out of the hospital." Sienna fusses. "Are you hungry?" She breastfeeds Sienna using the boppy pillow.

David was enjoying snuggles with Hope. "You look so much like your Mommy as a baby." Emma smiles at her father and her daughter. She burps Sienna. "You are all done, duckling." She kissed her daughter on the head.

David had Hope on his chest. "Emma, I can hold Sienna, too."

"Are you sure?"
"Yes. You need to eat. I brought over your favorite from Granny's. I left it in the kitchen."

Emma smiles. "I do need to eat." She sets Sienna in her Dad's arms. "Thank you, Dad."

"You are welcome. I get to spend one on one time with my two baby princesses." He smiles down at his granddaughters. Sienna coos and Hope smiles.

Emma took a photo of her Dad holding her daughters' on her iPhone. "You two have fun with Grandpa!" She takes the empty bottles of breast mlik and goes downstairs to the kitchen to eat her meal from Granny's. She takes a shower after she ate her breakfast and felt more refreshed. Her Dad took her daughters to the living room so she was able to nap in her bed.
