End of Maternity Relief

Henry has been having nightmares and is afraid of going to school. Luckily, his Nana's classroom was a few doors down where he could often see when he feels afraid. He also have been sleeping with his Mommy and Daddy at night, which Emma did not mind at all. Emma was up watching the twins in their cots. Killian tucked sleeping Henry in and went to his swan. "You have something on your mind, love. I see the look on your face."

"I am thinking of changing my work schedule when I return to work. With the girls' health issues, I cannot work every day of the week."

"Can you change your schedule?"

"Yes. I was thinking of working 3 days one week and twice a week the next week, alternating every week. So I can be home with them."

"We can work our work schedules, I can be with our girls when you are at work."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, my work is in the afternoon evenings. I can have Smee work in the afternoons. Or I can take the little loves with me to work in the mornings."

"Are you sure? We can find child care. I don't want them to be at Ashley's daycare because they can sick really easily."

"Yes, love, I will be home with our little ones when you are at work. When are you planning to go back to work?"

"Soon. My job has the health insurance with the girls' health issues, I just want to return for money and benefits."

"You can return to work. I will be with our little loves. Even your Dad wants to babysit the twins during the day if I am needed at work."

"I am going to miss my babies."

"When your home, they twins and Henry will be very happy to see you."

A few weeks later, Emma was up early getting ready for her first day back to work since having the twins. She gets ready for the day, puts on makeup and hair up in scrubs.She was pumping breastmilk for the twins. She kissed her son on the head. "I love you, Henry. I will see you in the evening."

Hope was babbling in her cot next to Sienna babbling back. "Mommy is going to work to save people's lives. You two are going to be good girls for Daddy!" Hope babbles. Sienna moves her arms. "We are going to snuggle a lot when Mama comes home from work." Sienna began crying. She holds her daughter in her arms. "Sea-Sea. Mama is here." She kissed her daughter on the head. "Mama is only going to be gone for a few hours. You will be here with Daddy!" She kissed her daughters' on their cheeks. She carried her daughters downstairs.

She arrives downstairs to find Killian making coffee. "Hey."

"Morning, love." They kiss. "Morning, baby loves."

"You are up early."

"Aye, I want to see my swan off." He faced his daughters. "Hi, baby loves!" Hope smiles and Sienna babbles. "We are going to spend the day together!"

"I pumped a few bottles of milk for these two. There is also breastmilk in the freezer of you run out."

"Swan, I have our daughters and our son. Hope and Sienna will be very happy to go in Daddy's car!"

"Okay." SHe hugs her daughters and kissed them on their heads. "Hope, be a good girl for Daddy. Sienna, have fun with Daddy and be good!"

He takes Sienna in his arms and hands her a sausage egg and cheese on a roll.

"You made this?"

"Yes, I did. I even have a freezer full of them for you to go for breakfast."

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the lips. "I have the best boyfriend ever."
