Twins Jones Arrival

The family was adjusting to Buckley in the house. He is a member of the family. He was at Emma's side most of the time, playing with Henry or with Killian. Emma was almost 9 months pregnant with her daughters and her belly dropped. Her Mom drops by daily to spend time with her daughter and help her around the house. She would even bring baby knitted outfits for the twins with matching bandana bows. Killian took Henry to his playdate with Lizzie and went to check on his business. Emma was feeling twinges on and off most of the morning as she was watching television with Buckley, "Braxton hicks." Buckley went to his owner and walked around her. "I am okay, Buckley." She scratched the dog's ear.

In the afternoon, she waddles to the kitchen to make herself lunch. She made herself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with cheetos. She squished the sandwich together."Girls, your craving sounds delicious and not a weird one." She went to the living room and sat on the couch. She ate her lunch while watching, Law and Order SVU. Buckley was lying down next to her on the couch, guarding his owner and the twins.

After she finished her lunch, she was still watching her show when she heard a splash and felt her lower half soaked. She looked down seeing her legs covered with her amniotic fluid. "Oh no. No. No. Not now." She gets a contraction. "Shit. I am alone!" The dog was aware something was wrong. He leaves the room and began barking at the front door.

Killian arrives home from town. He has been texting Emma with no response, knowing something was wrong. He hears Buckley barking from inside and enters. "Emma?" The dog barks. He followed the pet dog, to Emma who was gripping the couch and soaked from her legs and around the couch. His heart was beating fast, his daughters were on their way. "I am here love!"

"Killian!!" She smiles seeing him. "You are here."

Buckley barks. "Emma is going to be okay, Buckley. You watched your owner." He went to her. "Our twins are coming."

"My water broke ten minutes ago. I've been having on-and-off contractions all morning, with Buckley has been overprotective of me."

"Good job, Buckley." He pets the dog.

"At least the girls let me eat my peanut butter and jelly with Cheetos sandwich before my water broke."

"You will have energy, love." He puts a towel on the couch to dry up the Emma's waters.

"Our new couch."

He helped her off their couch. "I am not mad, love. The car is right outside with your bag packed." He lead her to the car and called Dr.Claire's office. Emma texted her Mom, "My water broke. We are on the way to the hospital."

Snow White was in a math lesson when she received the text from her daughter. "Yes!" Her students stared at her. "I have a family emergency." She rushed to get a substitute. "My granddaughters are coming!"

Killian began driving the yellow bug with the back full of car seats and a hospital bag. She was breathing in and out with nerves, the last time she was alone. "Are you ready for two babies?"

"I sure am, love. I am so excited! Our daughters are my first blood relatives in so long."

"You will be a great father to them." She gets a contraction. "Oh..." She breathes in and out. "My first of many..."

"I am driving faster, love." He began speeding up his driving to the hospital. They arrived at the hospital, Allison's nurse was there for Emma with a wheelchair. He helped her out the car. "Allison!"

"Emma!"

"The twins are coming today!"

"Killian, I will get Emma inside." She takes the hospital bag. Killian went to park the car.
