Day Off

Emma has her day off, she dropped off Henry in the morning while Killian was at home with the girls. She was playing on the play mat with her daughters while Killian went back to sleep for a few more hours. She was enjoying her one-on-one time with Hope and Sienna. She was enjoying hearing her daughters' babbling to each other in their matching pink sweaters with their names sewn in. While the twins napped, she tidied up the house and had her second cup of coffee.

Emma packed the diaper bag and the girls in the double stroller. She went for a walk into the town.

Belle sees Emma with the double stroller entering the library; she opens the door for her. "Hi, Emma."

"Hi, Belle."

"Hi, Hope and Sienna. They are so cute."

"Thank you." She enters the library. "We are here for books."

"We are having storytime soon."

"That is great. I am hoping the girls are awake for it." Emma looked at books for herself and for her children. She parked her stroller and read a new book called The Underneath. She texted Killian, We are at the library before storytime."

Hope wakes up first. She puts her book down and takes Hope from the stroller. "Hi, baby girl. We are in a place full of books. We are going to be in storytime today!" Hope smiles. She carried Hope to the baby books and showed her books. She let Hope babble and answer what book she wanted to take home. Sienna wakes up. "Hi, baby girl. We are at the library." She let Sienna choose a book to borrow. She changed their diapers before the class started.

Emma pushed the stroller to the community room for story time with chairs around with other children and mothers. She held both of her daughters on her lap during while Belle reads books and sang songs for the next 30 minutes. She was able to breastfeed Hope with a cover on during story time. Sienna began crying. "Shh...shh..."

Emma knew she needed to take the girls out of the class, but Hope was still eating.

Killian arrived and took Sienna. Emma was relieved to see him. "Hey."

"I could not miss storytime for our baby loves." He took Sienna out in the hallway with the stroller. He took her to the children's reading area and opened a book. He read to her, which calmed her down. He smiled at his daughter, who wanted her own storytime. "You do not like the singing baby love?" Sienna babbles. "We are staying out for our own storytime."

Emma burps Hope, who was awake for the rest of the class. She clapped Hope's hand at the end of the stories and songs.

The storytime with Belle ended; "Let's go find Daddy and Sienna." She holds Hope in her arms. She finds Killian reading to Sienna in the children's area. Sienna was chewing on her Daddy's hook and looking content. She smiles at her boyfriend and her daughter one on one time.

"I thought you were still sleeping."

"You were surprised to see me?"

"Yes! You came just in time when these two cuties both needed my attention at the same time."

"That is why there are two of us, love. I did not want to miss our daughters' first trip to the library. Well, Sienna had her storytime out here." Hope fusses.

"You want to have a storytime with Daddy too?" Emma sat next to Killian and Sienna. Killian continues to read to both of his daughters.

He takes his daughter from his girlfriend. "You had fun today at the library, baby love?" Hope babbles.

Belle approached the couple with a little boy who is around 4 years old. "Emma, Killian, this is my son, Gideon."

"Hi, Gideon."
