You all tentatively enter the parlor, just in time to see the Undertaker rolling on the ground in laughter as Abberline stares in utter confusion.

"I assure you man, you're in the wrong profession!" Undertaker said after recovering from the laughing fit. "That was hysterical! You could be a world renowned comedian!"

As he broke into giggles again, ciel walked up to the baffled inspector. "What did you say to him??"

"I have no idea..." Abberline replied honestly. "I was just talking to him normally, then he began laughing like a madman."

You both stared at the giggling Undertaker, surprised at how effortless the he was at cracking his joke toll without even knowing there was one.

"How unexpected..." Ciel notes, giving a somewhat suspicious look at him. "You aren't without talent."

Sebastian then steps in, his face a bit darker than Ciel's. "You are a man to be reckoned with. Most interesting..."

"But... I didn't do anything!" Abberline protested, a bit nervous from the butler's burning glare.

...exactly. "Mew." You uttered, your own eyes squinted at him, which made him flinch.

The tension was then broken as Ciel abruptly slammed his hands down on the counter, startling you as he fixed his glare on the Undertaker.

"Tell me more about the ring, I want to know it all." he demanded, as you took a moment to climb down from his shoulder onto the flat surface. "The man you pulled out of the river was the last to have it."

"Perhaps it was frozen in the ice near where the body was found." Abberline suggested, before bowing slightly to the silver haired man. "You are a citizen of our great country, Mr. Undertaker. Please give us your help in this matter."

"As I said before, I'm impressed with you, inspector." Undertaker said, still grinning from his good laugh. "I'll tell you everything... where is the ring, you ask?"

"You see... right here!"

...Ah.

You stared up at an elegant ice sculpture of a woman, your eyes idly taking in the impressive details, until they caught onto the very ring itself, stuck on her finger.

Abberline let out a cry of shock as Ciel stared in what looks to be dissatisfaction.

"It appears that a sculptor must have happened upon the ring and designed a beautiful ice sculpture to complement it." Lau noted casually as usual. "Our mystery has been solved."

That was a bit anticlimactic. "Meow." You muttered with a flick of your tail, earning a scoff and eye roll from Ciel.

"Collect the ring, now!" Abberline ordered the two nearby police officers whom immediately seized the statue for the cursed ring-

"What do you think you're doing, thieves!?"

You all turned to find a group of aristocrats standing there with disgruntled expressions. There were two women and two men, but standing a few paces away from them was...

A familiar blonde man you'd frankly hoped to never see again...

"That dear lady will be rewarded to the contests victor." He said smoothly, taking a brief sniff of a white rose. "You wouldn't want to defile her now, would you?"

You felt Ciel tense up under your paws as he recognized the man himself.

"Viscount, Lord Druit!" He exclaimed, both shocked and revolted.
