*Alexander’s POV*

It had really stung when Andrea had thrown me out of her house but I instantly knew that something was going on with her. I didn’t even really try to fight her on it because I knew that she wasn’t completely herself when she hurriedly rushed me out. After I had left her house somewhat shocked I made my way to a flower shop to arrange for them to drop off a different bouquet of flowers for her while I was gone. I had called Justin and Brooke about the competition and they were completely for it although they did groan in frustration when I told them that they only had a couple of hours.

I hadn’t really expected Andrea to make it to the airport but when I saw her and all of the things so brought me my heart melted and I knew that she was the girl that I would wake up to for the rest of my life. I’m glad that that I had run into her when I did because I don’t know where I would be right now. I’m also thankful that I was overly flirty and a bit pushy because I don’t think I would have been able to get her to open up to me as quickly as she did.

Now here I was inNew Yorkas I had been for almost three weeks. I had missed Andrea but I got to talk to her every night. I had to admit that it was good to put some distance between us for a while because I didn’t want to be too clingy or make her feel suffocated; I was relieved that she would be the one calling me to see how I was doing or where I was. Of course some of the time I was the one that called first.

“Congratulations boy! You have a very big chance of winning this thing,” my professor exclaimed from beside me as we walked to the next venue that we would be having the next photo shoot.

“Thank you Professor Maxil. I’m glad that you think so highly of me.” I couldn’t help but grin at his praise.

“No thank you young man! I have never had a student that had such an eye for detail. I’m glad that I had entered your work into a magazine competition. I still can’t believe that you won. Now that was something,” he laughed and I just gave him a blank look in return. “Oh, I’m sorry. Did I forget to tell you? I entered your assignment you know the one with all of your favorite things into a magazine contest and it was published into several magazines all around the country.” He patted me on the back before he went on with, “that girl is quite the beauty; please tell me you’re still with her?”

“Yes, she’s my girlfriend. Wait you published that? How long ago?” He can completely forget anything sometimes. One time he was going to give us a unit final that he had claimed that he had mentioned all week but he completely forgot to mention it to us but thankfully he had also forgotten to make copies of the test.

“About a week after you turned it in,” he admitted.

That meant that it would have been a few months back. It was around the time that Andrea had gotten that letter, but surely it wasn’t me who led Mason back to her, right?

“You didn’t happen to mention where I was from did you?” Please say no. PLEASE SAY NO!

“Of course I did! Then how were you going to get new clients if I hadn’t have mentioned you and where you were from? Now come on you have to go win this thing.” He was completely oblivious to my shocked expression.

I couldn’t have possibly been the one that gave Andrea out to Mason. Could I have? With that daunting thought plaguing my mind I absentmindedly made my way to the next venue.

“Come on Alexander! How are you going to impress your girlfriend if you can’t even try to move your hips? Latinas are known for being able to move so you have to at least try to keep up,” Jilliana my dance instructor yelled at me. Since the first day that I had arrived inNew YorkI had seen an advertisement across the street from our hotel about a ballroom dance class and I thought that since Andrea had done ballroom dance for awhile now then it wouldn’t hurt for me to learn so that I could keep up with her.
